I'm taking my 73 y/o mom for her first ever trip to WDW in Dec. She is a very brittle diabetic with bad knees and high blood pressure, so will need to take it slowly. I am renting her an ECV from offsite to use during the ten days we are down there. She must eat regularly and frequently, whereas I have a tendency to forget to eat. I admit I am a commando type tourer who likes to go from sunup to midnight. Consequently I have made ADRs for almost every meal (in order to make myself slow down). We are doing CS only three times the entire trip (POFQ lunch the day we arrive, POFQ breakfast one day, and Flame Tree BBQ for lunch one day). I have about 30 TS ADRs (including like 9 character meals). We won't be ordering full course meals everytime of course and in fact I may be getting just fruit for breakfast and an appetizer at some of the other meals, but they will still be sit down meals, where we have to take a break. She mainly wants to concentrate on the dining, the characters, and Christmas stuff, so we won't be riding that many rides. Does anyone else do mainly TS meals?
With doing mainly TS and using the BRP for the room, obviously the dining plan would not have worked for us, but I do have the DDE card and from what I've figured we should be saving close to $200.00 with it.
