please tell me what experiences you had...must you pack and get off then wait to get back on? did you get to stay onboard? did you get the same rooms? plmk--thanks...just think..CC twice!!!

Well, we are due to do our back to back 7 nighters on the 9/25 and 10/02. In my q&a, I have heard MOST get to stay on the ship during the turnover, but you are banished from your stateroom for a period of time for a clean. We are hoping the same will ring true for us, as I have nothing but laundry in mind for those three or four hours....

I know Barb and Three Circles have done them, so maybe they'll ring in....

We've done a back to back 7 day. We booked the same stateroom for both trips. We did not have to pack up. I think they change it at times, however, we were escorted off, checked in and were escorted back onto the ship before they allowed the other guest on. It was a blast. We were on the ship, with only cm's, for about 3 hours before we had to check back in. I did my laundry and we walked around.

I think if you change staterooms, obviously you would have to pack up!

NASSAU Twice :( :faint:

Probably would Skip that , and just do a 7 Day...

why not do the 7-Night Caribbean Cruise with 2 Calls at Castaway Cay? they have this option on the DCL website! i guess you werent the only one who thought 2 days at CC would be great!!

There are no seven day cruises from FL in summer of 2005, hence the reason for trying to do back to back Wonder cruises. We also wanted to do a seven day, and were looking at this as an option.

We also considered doing the Wonder back to back. We had been planning to do the seven day cruise during the summer in 2005 for two years. We were so bummed when they came out with the West coast sailings.

I would consider this. If there was one specific week that we wanted to cruise and it was the Western Itinerary (not too enthused about this itinerary), we'd consider doing a B2B 3-night, 4-night combo.

Some benefits of doing this would be:
(1) 2 stops at Castaway Cay
(2) More at-sea days
(3) Ability to see shows like Hercules, Golden Mickeys & Disney Dreams twice in one week
(4) 4 deck parties

Downfalls:
(1) 2 Nassau stops. After visiting Nassau 3 times, I hope I never have to step on that Island again. Not a fan!

OK, what is the deal with Nassau? No one likes it! I mean NO ONE!! Is it that bad? I guess I should be thankful that we booked the dolphin excursion while we are there or is that a problem area too?

Leave it to Barb and Tony to do a 3 peat! :) I wish that I could travel like you guys.... one day, when the kids are grown, and I am retired. Do they let old people work on the cruise ships? Maybe I could be a greeter (like at WalMart!) :) Does it end up being any cheaper this way?
