Anyone cruising May 8, 2004 Western?

I will be signing my DD6 up for kids clubs....she is very excited and much like all of us, is accurately counting down the days...she can't wait to meet new kids her age....

Someone asked about the Dismeet....I believe its 3pm at the promenade lounge on the Monday. There is also an informal meet by the pool on Saturday afternoon sometime...before the lifeboat drill...(someone correct me if i'm wrong).

Some of us are wearing green mickey heads around our necks....you can get them in the paint department at home depot. Hope this helps!

Someone also said while they were on Key West they were going to find a piece of good key lime pie. Shirley from Perfect Gifts sent me this as my DH and I are big key lime pie people and I asked her where in Key West: The best places to get key lime pie is at the Roof Top Restaurant which is right accross from Mallory Square

as for my 7 yr old in the kids club. He is nearly 7 1/2. I've read on some other threads that he *may* be able to go up to the lab, and if that's the case, I think he'll do it because he likes the activites in the lab so much better, and his sister will bein the lab, too. If not, he'll be at the Oceaneer's Club.

yup, informal DIS meet at the Mickey pool between embarkation and life boat drill. Other than running to check if my room is ready and hauling luggage in, or running to check in the kids, I should be there.

So you know what *I* look like, I snuck over to the WISH board and snagged my before and during pictures (the only pictures of me posted in cyberspace) Guess if you can find me, we can all find each other!

Do you bring your own towels or do you use theirs??

Kevin - We are going to try and at least stop by the Mickey pool before the life boat drills. This will be great if DS6 (Steven) can meet your DS ahead of time. It will allow them to bond a little before they see each other in the Kids Club. I don't know what I will be wearing (Still have not had time to go to Home Depot for the Lime Green Mickeys) but it will not be a little black dress with a pair of white sandals and a pink Mickey tie. LOL I will probably wear my lime green CC T shirt or be wearing a Hawaian shirt. I'll try to remember the hat (Does this stand for Port Authority Police Department?). - Mike

Mike, you are correct Port Authority Police..

Ryan (my son) will probably be going down the slide a couple of times before the drill, and I will wear the hat,, And for anyone else watching A bathing suit too.. LOL..

Yeah our weather out here has been terrible as well. Only is the high 70's and sunny 6 days out of the week. Sorry - Couldn't help it. LOL. But I'm still stuck inside (I do have a nice window to look out of though). - Mike

KC - My window faces the flight path for LAX (Although I'm sure I am not nearly as close as you). I'll be happier when I am watching the planes taking off when we stay at the Hyatt MCO the night before the cruise. - Mike

Well, I have 3 skylights above me and although it lets the sun in, i cannot see past the walls aside them as I am sitting on a slant to them. No planes landing, no clouds, not even a bird to come around and poop on the window....
The days are dragging...I hope the time is slow on the ship cuz that will make it all worth it.
I am leaving on the 5th of May for Disney.....so my time is a little shorter than yours, but when it comes to the last 2 days....it really doesn't matter how far away it is...10 minutes is too long to wait!!
