Anyone cruising May 8, 2004 Western?

msh875, I think you are going to have to show your artistic side. I have done a google search to see what I could come up with but like you have found nothing. Looks like you may have to buy a pink tie and make up your own.

Now that you have started this we will all be looking forward to see what you come up with.

We now have a man with no pants and a woman in a pink tie. Sounds like we are going to have an interesting dismeet. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Well, I may've found one and even tho it has Mickey on it it seems a little boring...we will just have to wait and see. (it has pink)

Anyhow, I can't believe the assortment of ties and no pink ones? Hey, men wear pink !!?!??

Anyhow, thanks for your help and keep your eyes open!

Me and creative do not fit in the same sentence.

Ok, I was teasing....well....SOME do....I guess it's a matter of how comfortable you are with your feminine side...
Apparantly DISNEY doesn't think pink is for men cuz I can't find a stinkin tie!! LOL
But they make PINK button down dress shirts.....hmmm...
I don't know..not my fancy.
I wear pink WHOOOHOOO...enough to make up for you and everyone else....:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

msh8675 - You just sound way to happy. Any chance you are going on a cruise soon? Are you on this sight all day???? Can't get enough of DCL??? LOL - Mike

Actually Mike...I am in fact in and out of this thing all day....
It helps to pass the time.

A lot of bad things have happened this year that have been out of my control....this i figured I deserved to do for myself and my daughter who has also suffered.
I think it will give us a chance to spend some time with eachother as well as not think about the issues we have back home, even if only for a week.
I have thought about taking a trip like this for years....and have brushed it off every time. But I have decided that you only live once....and I dont' want my daughter to grow older and me say I wish I'd have done this or that...
Sometimes we have to stop ourselves and catch our breath to realize the important things in life. The bills will always be there and no one is gonna bury me with my money.....

Yes I am overjoyed about this trip....and I am enjoying my freedom from the relationship world....

I am in total agreement with you. I hope you have the relaxation and family time you seek. Hopefully no more bad things will happen to you this year to add to your stress. I am also on and off the boards while at work and my computer is doing other tasks and sometimes when I get home from work I will check in to see what is happening. Don't ever lose your sense of humor (you seem to have a good one) or your priorities for putting family first. Over the last few years, I have made every effort to put my family first before work. - If they don't like it, then they can release me. I can never make up the time with family again and there is no greater pleasure in this world than watching my DS6 grow up. I'm throwing some pixie dust your way for better and more happier times coming your way. - Mike

HOOO RAAH on the pixie dust....I had run out!!
LOL

Anyhow....I think I found my tie! Whoohooo
I do not want to get overly obsessed with a tie, but I am gonna keep my eyes open....maybe I can pick up a few others....(hmm...lets see....blue Nike's on tuesday......Red on thursday.....)

Just keeeeeeep counting!!!

Just for you, I am going to bring my most colorful Hawaian shirts. They even have names they come with. I plan on bringing "The fish market", "A fishermans paradise", "Mickeys surf party" and maybe "Easter Island". I hope there isn't any pink in any of them. - Mike

Sounds great!! It sounds like its going to be a fun week....
Thanks for the reminder...I have NOTHING Hawaiian for that night of whatever....fiesta night!! I dunno I read something....
I'm gonna have to do some shopping on that one too...
LOL---goodie....binge shopping.....my favorite.....

*hmmm....I dont' have any yellow sneakers!!???*

I can tell you first hand to NEVER EVER put anything off doing with your child. Do it while you can, you never no what will happen in the future. The boy in the picture below was my godson and Kaseys (my daughter) godfather. We were leaving on April 26th for 10 days in Disney and 4 on the cruise last year and he died on April 8th. Luckily I never put off doing things with him though, he traveled a lot with me and with me and his mom. When he was sick at 2 the first thing we did the first break in his chemo was to take him to Disney. You don't know what is going to happen in the future....I have NO problem taking my child out of school for a week to go to Disney or spend time with her, I never want to be able to say "gee I wish I had spent more time with her or done this or that"....You never hear anyone say "I wish I would have worked more" but you will hear " I wish I spent more time with my kids." The 14 year old coming with us on this cruise is my godsons sister, she's been through a lot in her 14 years and his mom is also coming.
Anyway, off my soapbox now and hope you all have a better year to come!

aprilgail2 - My heart goes out to you. My thoughts and prayers will be with you in the days ahead. You do have memories and these will get you thru the hard times ahead until time numbs the pain. - Mike

Aprilgail,
Thank you for your post. I cannot imagine how you feel...I've never lost a child or any child close to me. This year we've had 3 deaths within a short time of eachother-2 of which were under the age of 38. Any death is difficult to take but that of an innocent child must be 1000 times worse and its so difficult even to think of. I'm sorry for your loss and I hope that memories can help to heal your pain and sorrow.
It is said that everything happens for SOME reason.....it is these reasons that are most difficult to comprehend....

I wish you the best...can't wait to meet!

MEESH

Wow, sorry about all the deaths close to you this year.

On another happier topic now that I have dragged everyone down.........

What is everyone doing when they are in Cozumel?? We were thinking of goign to Paradise beach now...we thought about Mr Sanchos but people coming back from Paradise beach are raving about it so maybe we will give that a try.

We have nothing planned right now for Cozumel. Only place besides CC that we do not have an excursion. We plan on playing it by ear. Going to the beach, jet skiing, shopping, etc. - Mike

My DH and I are doing the Jeep Tour. Then we have nothing planned after we get back. My girlfriend went on a Carnival Cruise about 3 weeks ago and they went to Cozumel and she bought some nice gold/silver bracelets, so I thought maybe I could get some shopping done, plus she said we have to go to
Senor Frogs. I want to buy some diamond earrings, but don't know how I would know if it was getting a good deal or not.

We were also thinking about one of the Mexican restaurants for lunch such as Senor Frogs but are still trying to just be spontaneous while we are here. - Mike

Well, I *think* this is what my travel agent planned for me (dh) ;)
My dd learned about the Mayan ruins last year and the *reason* we're taking this cruise is so she can go to Cozumel and see them. So she and dh are doing the Tulum ruins excursion. It'd be too much for my ds (who could care less about the ruins) so he and I will be attempting the dolphin thingy...
Ok, pulled out the DCL thing....Yes, dh and dd are doing Tulum ruins. Myself and ds are doing Dolphin Discovery.
Just tell me when to be there and what to pack. As long as I'm not cooking, cleaning, doing laundry and doing school, I don't care what I do!
