I have are fabulous disigns (thanks again millie!!!) and transfer paper and shirts all picked out but can't really decide where to place the disign on our shirts. I just need a bit of inspiration. I will gladly add mine when I'm done too.

So lets see those shirts:goodvibes

Oh and I'd love to see whatever else you made too.

Ask and you shall receive! I went a little overboard for our October 2009 trip...luckily we drove b/c I had two TUBS of tshirts for the 8 of us that went! :lmao:

My dh and I had matching shirts for our Anniversary.(his had Grumpy, mine had Snow White) The rectangle was on the back and the little circle in the pocket area on front. That was my dh's favorite way to have the shirt. I prefer them on front!

Just a note, these are all from 2009 and some of the DISigners are not doing these DISigns anymore, that's why some of them may look unfamiliar to you.

I'm starting our Tshirts today. Procrastinator I know!

First of all here's our calendar. I got the poster from target and added one of Millies graphics. Then grabbed a bunch of mickey paint samples from home depot. I know people like to put them all up and then take off a mickey head each day, but we are bucking the trend and adding a head each day.

And I'll post the shirts once they are all done! But really I am so happy with the one I finished already.

My husband designed a shirt for the kiddo and we cannot figure out how to transfer it without having the entire sheet of paper stuck to the first of the shirt. Is there a trick to this? This is the first time we have ever made a shirt and we printed a picture of the dream on it since she doesn't know about the cruise yet.

Thanks,
Kristie

These are some of the wonderful shirts DISigners have created for me. I have been fortunate to also use them for my daughters bday (as thanks you gifts) and both kids wear various DISigns year round. We'd also used lots of invites, tip envelopes, pressed penny tubes, Autograph books, birthday invitations and party supplies!
My thanks to all the wonderful individuals who share their talents!

Not sure I understand the question. What's the problem with sticking?

DH & I were wearing the same shirts for our anniversary in my pics! I took DH on a Segway tour Around the World (showcase) for our anniversary!

The finished product has a white square the size of the sheet surrounding all of the black letters that were centered in the middle of the print out. We put it on a pink shirt and used the light transfer paper.

I thought only what was printed would transfer over? Did we do something wrong or do I misunderstand how they work.

Thanks,
Kristie

It sounds like dark transfer paper, and that's all I use (dark that is). You could always put the letters into a colored box or oval with a border so you can cut it out before ironing it on.

You probably got dark transfers.

Thanks guys I love the shirts, and made more last night. I will post pictures of them later. BUT I'm so sad, when I washed them they started cracking and peeling. I used avery transfers and will never use them again. So so disappointed.

I'll take more pictures when I'm done with the luggage tags.

How cool is that?!?!? We had fun wearing them and everyone really loved them. DH still talks about them and asked if I was making the same shirts this time...uh...does he know me at ALL?!?!?

Okay so heres some more.

This is my shirt that is part of milliepies disigns. As you can see the cracking and fading is the worst on this one. Love the disign though.

These shirts are Jordaks disign. My husbands favorite. They all look the same so I just piled them up and took a picture. I'm so sad that these peeled

Then I made luggage tags. I used designs from two disigners in a baseball card holder and then slapped on some ribbon. The front disign is from milliepie

Here is the other side of the tag with our information. Sorry I did such a crappy job whiting out the info LOL. This disign is from bababear 50's photobucket.

I still have other stuff I'm making but since I'm detouring off of tshirts I might just start a TR and put it all on there.

Anyone else have any shirts to show off?

Here is what I bought Transfer Magic Inkjet transfer paper for light colored light weight fabric. I will pass on the info to dh about adding some kind of box around the letters.

Thanks,

I'm new to the forum and I would love to do shirts. Could anyone point me in the right direction where to look? I love some of those princess name fills. Thanks in advance.

Hi Mallorysmom,

You are in the right place in the Creative DISigns forum. You can look through links of various disigners to get a feel for their style or specialty. When you find the disign that's just right you can use a request a personalization on that disigners thread or sometimes the disigner will have a link to a hosting site where you can download a blank disign to use.

Just start looking through the threads and you'll be hooked in no time! :wizard:
