Ok, we've found all the questions about American milestones in space except one. Care to help?
It says: "On _________________(date) NASA accepted its first female candidates for astronauts".
We've found where Jerrie Cobb went through testing for the space program, but no clear cut answer on when NASA began accepting female candidates. FOund one website that mentions 1978, but nothing clear cut. It's not the Mercury 13 program. Looking for the "official" date. Actually found this questions on a website that has this as a bonus question on a test on feminism and it says 1978, just not the month and day.
