I bought 4 a few months ago. Called up spoke directly with MS and was given confirmation numbers that I go to Guest services with. Does this sound right?...i got no email or anything.

I ordered the DVC AP online, I got some kind of voucher by mail which I took to guest relations at Epcot once I got to WDW. There was a barcode they scanned. I guess, with your confirmation number it would be the same, but of course with more possibilities for errors.

But they probably can also search for your Name and adress or maybe DVC member number. Just make sure to bring your credit card you used to pay for the AP and maybe also the CC statement showing that MS charged for it.

Or you could call MS and ask them to mail you a confirmation e-mail or letter.

We ordered AP's over the phone a couple of days before our spring break trip. Since it was only 2 days before our arrival date, they did not send the voucher but gave us a confirmation number and told us we could pick up the passes at the "Will Call" booth at any of the parks. We arrived at the Epcot Will Call booth and got our passes with no problem. You do need to show your member ID and DL (or similar ID with your address on it).

I would advise that you have something to carry the passes in that does not contain a magnet. The passes are magnetized and are very sensitive. I had to go to guest services 4 times during our stay to have then replaced because they had become de-magnetized!

Oops -Forgot to say that you also need to give Will Call the credit card you used to pay for the passes.

That's typically what I do. If they mail you the vouchers, it's $5 mailing fee. Plus you have to worry about losing them or forgetting them. If they mail you the vouchers, you still have to go to guest services to get the actual AP, so it doesn't save you any time.

Thanks everyone!,,,Feeling reassured now.:)

I ordered APs last summer before the price increase and will be activating them this year. I did not receive one piece of paper, voucher, or anything and was told by more than one CM that I just need to give guest services the confirmation number and they can look it up for me to provide me with the activated passes.

Does the confirmation number they give you over the phone allow you to login to the passholder's website?

Its been a few years since we purchased APs but I vaguely remember being able to login to the passholder's website with the information off the back of the vouchers.

I'm specifically looking at taking advantage of the AP room discount to add a couple nights onto the beginning of our stay in August, before we check in to our DVC unit.
