Anyone bought a magazine subscription with Continental airmiles?

or any airmiles I guess.

I'm just wondering if it went smoothly. Were you caught for any extra charges? Was delivery okay or did you have to keep calling or complaining? I know they'll only deliver within the U.S. - that's fine as I'm not ordering for myself.

We have gotten about a dozen magazine subscriptions free with airmiles, never seem to have enough to trade them for a flight before they expire, so we get magazines. Never any extra charges, and they start sending them pretty fast.

I've never seen anything offered for Continental air miles except flights (and they are difficult to get,) but I don't think the miles expire.

Carl, yes with Continental OnePass you can get magazine subscriptions or reduced-price merchandise (though it doesn't seem too reduced to me).

Agreed, it takes a lot of points to get a flight.
