Anyone been to Sunset Beach Resort & Spa?

What did you think of it? I would love to hear everything you can remember about your stay, good and bad.

I haven't booked yet, but I'm pretty sure we'll be going there this November. My group will consist of 12 adults (ages 32-75), 2 children (ages 3 & 10).

We didnt "stay there" but have been there.. We went on a cruise in March of last year and they will sell day tickets to cruisers to come in and use their facilities.. It was wonderful!!! We had a wonderful time.. well lets see about what I remember.. There are 3 different beaches.. the furthest one is the topless.. we didnt go there but just stayed at the first one we came to.. there is snorkeling, kayaks, peddle boats, 2 or 3 pools, a swimup bar, hottub or two (cant remember), ping pong tables.. they were building a kids waterpark but it wasnt done while we were there as they were still in building stages however I thought I read somewhere that its now completed.. for some reason I am thinking they had a miniature golf course, but I could be wrong.. we didnt do it if there was one.. The food and drinks are all inclusive.. You HAVE to try the jerk chicken.. its the bomb!! my DD8 loved it and keeps asking me to make it now that we are home.. yeah right.. You may want to bring your own mug though for the drinks as the cup they give you is not very big and then you'll have to keep going back, but if you dont mind doing that than there is no problem.. They will make frozen drinks for your kiddos with no alcohol.. my kids loved them! I think they had hamburgers, fries also, but dont remember.. I only remember the jerk chicken because it was sooooooo good.. I remember that the area that you check in there are really cool things you can lay in and read a book, but dont know what they are called.. I believe there are 1 or 2 actual restaurants there too but you have to be dressed to go to them, no bathing suits.. since we were there just for the day we opted to eat at the outside place.. I have been looking at going back and actually staying there as we had such a good time.. It is truly beautiful!! I think you've made a good choice.. You can also get a massage there.. you have to call ahead and make arrangements with the dates and everything though.. I wish I had some pictures to share.. I have plenty that I took, but none that I can link to on the computer.. but I think you will be happy with it..
