Anyone back recently, how were the crowds?

I was just down from Feb. 10-17 and the crowds were almost non-existent until presidents weekend. Once Friday hit, it seemed like it was Christmas. On Feb. 11 the tower of terror had a 0 minute wait. But, on Feb. 15 the wait was 90 minutes at the peak of the day. Have Fun

I leave on the 5th, and I'm also hoping to hear more about the crowds...What about weather? I'm hoping for jeans and tanktop weather, with a sweatshirt at night...I'm not really ready to have to wear shorts yet...

I am also going to Disney World soon. Next week on Sunday my mom is taking my girlfriend and I there for a whole week as my college graduation present (I graduate next Saturday :D ).

This is probably a dumb question but how do you add those counters in your sig?

we were there tues/wed and crowds weren't that bad but there were people there...we are going again wed-friday this week hopefully its back to normal :)

We planned on going to MK yesterday but once we got to the ticket center and seen the line to the monorail (all the way to the bottom...and then some) we changed our plans and went to Epcot. DH asked a CM that was doing crowd control at the beginning of the monorail line if something special was going on at MK and he said no, they have just been real busy all month. So it sounds like the crowds are up a bit. There was an article also in the paper the other day that Disney is getting booked up for Spring and Summer.

We just got back last night. There were more people than I have ever seen.

Hi,

I agree with Disney Obsessed.
We just got back today(2/22).
We were there from 2/15 to 2/21,
and it was very crowded. Wait times
were unreal. Believe it or not Saturday
the 21st was the best day we had, as
far as wait times. We also went from
12/18 to 12/22/03 and it was more
crowded this Feb..

I am sure the crowds will be better the
next weeks. Good luck.

OH no! I hate crowds and long wait times... I went last year around the 17th of March and it wasn't that bad but I was hoping that going earlier this year would make it lots better....

We just returned 2/22 and I was nervous about the President's Day week. Unlike most of these posts I didn't find the crowds to be bad at all. We used the Unofficial guide touring strategies and our longest wait was for Mickey's Philharmonic which was 40 minutes. Most rides were 10 - 15 minutes wait and we used fast passes for any rides with more than a 30 minute wait. I was thrilled because I had been expecting congestion and long lines.

The weather was cool but Saturday was our pool day and it was sunny and 77 degrees. I wore shorts a few days but I would have been cold in summer shirts i.e. tanks or spagetti straps.

It is actually very busy for this time of year. Started picking up on President's weekend and hasn't let up. Last night at Downtown Disney looked like a night in the middle of the summer. Are schools up north on Winter break, or something... all kinds of kids!

Just back last night, I didn't think that the crowds were all that bad. We have been both in November and March and I really think the crowd levels were the same. We used fast pass for all the popular rides, most wait times were less than 30 minutes until about 1:30-2:00. Have a great time!

We went to MK and Epcot on 2/14. MK was emh and was very crowded. We left at 10:30 (After having done fantasyland, tomorrowland, and goofy's barnstormer) As we were leving, the crowds on Main street comming in were so bad, we had to walk through the stores to get out of the park. We had a late breakfast at Kona Cafe. Walked over to the TTC and went to Epcot. It was a ghost town. We did all of futureworld before our TT FP time even came up. Stood on line for TT-listed time 60 min.-actual tome was only 20 min. Did not do WS because we had dinner reservations at Flying Fish.

I moved here right after the first of this year.
The crowds are about what you could predict.
Less crowded during the week days than the weekends.
And each weekend it seems everything is more crowded than the previous weekend.
We were at MK yesterday afternoon.
It was crowded. We used FP for Buzz, waited 20 - 30 minutes for Autopia, walked around, got a FP for Splash, rode Buzz, rode Splash, PotC, walked around a lot.
Even the FP at Splash had quite a wait. But at least it was maybe 10 minutes (w/ FP).
I had read rumors about Space Mountain having a singles rider line. We did not see this was the case.
CoP has been open recently too, with next to no wait. I rode it last week and it was open yesterday.
The crowds are managable. You just have to make a game plan without being too rigid on a schedule.

We had been going to Disney Quest on Saturday evenings and it was always crowded. We went last night instead and it was very managable. Much more fun. :) We did Pirates three times last night with maybe a 10 wait each time.
