I'd love to see a trip report from someone who's been on this ABD trip recently. Wondering if there's any changes in the itinerary or how the stay at Disneyland Hotel was. We leave in a couple weeks. Can't wait! :)

We don't go until December, but I would love to hear your thoughts when you return. Hopefully someone will be able to give you their impression before you leave. Have a great trip!

I took this trip in May / June. The Disneyland Hotel was fine - prepare a lot of walking. While the Grand Californian is a short walk to the parks, the Disneyland Hotel is a 15-minute walk. There are 2 very long days in the parks. Day 5, we went to California Adventure, broke for the afternoon, met in the lobby of the Disneyland Hotel, walked to the Grand Californian for a gathering, and then to the California Adventures for dinner and World of Color. You walk right past the park entrance to the Grand Californian.

Thanks for the info! Do you remember what restaurants you ate at during the park portion of the trip?

How were your rooms? I was told because they moved us from grandcalifornian we would be getting upgraded accommodations at Disneyland hotel. I'm going august 27 adults only and I'm also excited they said walts apartment is still included

Our room was on the 9th floor of the Adventure Tower with a view of the pool. Everyone on this adventure had the same view - we were lined up in a row on the 9th floor. I suppose it was upgraded from the parking lot view. A quirk of the rooms - there are no plugs or usb near the bed.

Actually did you try looking down behind the bed near the floor? I've found that when staying at Paradise Pier if I pull the bed out slightly from the wall I find a plug hiding out near the baseboards behind one of the beds. If there is a lamp between the beds, follow the cord, it will usually lead you to a plug.
