We had the honor of being at Epcot center for 9-11-01. We were asked to leave at 9:30 AM. Does anyone know if any type of credit was given to us for that day or for that week since the tropical storm also came through?
We are now going back to WDW and was trying to figure out if we had a credit/day remaining on our cards. I called Disney and the answer I got was "we have to scan it to tell". Well I would like to know BEFORE i get there...

Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

When we went through the exit at MK, they gave us a 1 day hopper ticket which we used by adding another day to our stay since there was the storm that week and I did not want to drive home in it.

Interesting - we were ushered right to the monorail. Not given anything. We tried to stay another day too - but the Contemp Resort was booked. We didnt want to drive in it either....we drove up to south carolina and got rain the whole way.

We were in Orlando that day but not in the parks. It was our "off" day for shopping. My FIL was at a park though. They were also given park hoppers as they left to be used whenever they wanted.

Oh yes, we were ushered out to the monorails, but when we went throught the exit CM's were handing out the passes.
It was so crazy though, I'm sure there were some people that missed the passes. I wonder if Disney would do anything about it now.

It was really crazy. We're from near washington, DC so it was very crazy for us. We sure did miss the passes if that was the case.
