Anyone at Floridian right now? Construction updates?

I really wanna go here for my anniversary but construction made me change, it was just way too much.

I am hoping it looks better than last month and if so I'll change my reservations back but I see nothing but gingerbread construction online.

If anyone is there and can share or knows of any vloggers that have anything from November 2023 that would be great!

They are putting up the gingerbread house in the lobby this week so the grand lobby will definitely be open and not have any construction issues. I believe they upper floors are still under construction but really shouldn’t be a problem as no one is using those rooms right now. When is your trip?

We were booked at the Floridian, but I noticed none of the restaurants seemed to be available and after a while I got the hint and looked into it more. I found a vlog with all the scaffolding and we decided it is way too expensive to not have the full enjoyable experience for an anniversary trip. We are going back to our Honeymoon hotel instead. Honeymoon location was my first choice for our 30th then I thought we should splurge with the Floridian, it just isn't in the cards.

It is still a goal to stay at every hotel at least one night so it seems this trip just doesn't match up with what we want, I'll try again another time.

There today. Lots of scaffolding still. The gingerbread house is finished. The walkway to the MK was closed. I would not pay money to stay there right now.

Ok. So we are actually staying at the grand Floridian tonight. Our DVC studio at the poly ended up being beside a huge group of people having a party on the balcony. Complete with music blaring from a speaker - why do people do this? No more studios at the poly, so they moved us to a regular theme park view room at GF. Wow is it nice. Perfect view of the fireworks. Doesn’t seem to be hardly any other guests in this whole building. People must be staying away due to the construction.
