We will be at Epic Tuesday and I originally saw that Stardust Racers has been staying open past posted closing time when the park closes at 9pm. I have been checking the app this week and several rides still show wait times after posted closing time of 9pm. One night a few like Ministry said at capacity which makes me hopeful that the app is accurate. Did anyone visit on a 9pm close day recently that can confirm?

Are you asking if the ride is operating until guests who entered the queue prior to park closing can ride after the park closes?

Are you asking if you can enter the queue after park closing and ride?

I've read several stories that some rides might be operating after 9PM.
Also that the park is sometimes allowing folks in before the official opening as well (I assume early entry folks)

Its covered in this video:

Yes!! That is very exciting!!

I saw Stardust Racers for sure but then started checking the app and many rides are showing wait times between 9:30 and 10 with a 9pm close. I was looking for 1st hand experience on what was actually still open vs Universal's app not being correct.

Read that the Celestial area has been open an hour post close. Also read that things are being kept open a wee bit later past closing on days with major weather delays. Which there’s been major weather delays a lot lately.

Every single day :( im not one to check weather much in the summer and always have a poncho, but Epic has me nervous!
Our upcoming first time trip to Epic, Universal, & Islands has us a wee bit nervous too. Going to go with the flow as we only have 2 days to experience all 3 parks. Checking the weather, eek. Lots of storms projected. However, a theme park day even in the rain is better than a work day. One of our best times in Disneyland was when it was rained out decades ago.

We were at Epic June 29-July 2. Weather was a little unpredictable with big storms nearly every day - and not the oh it's Florida storms. These were for hours. Staying at Helios made going back to hotel really easy so we don't feel like we missed too much park time. We found it was best to go to Stardust Racers first thing and ride it as many times as you wanted (complete walk on) before they opened it to general public at 10am. One of the mornings we waited for the initial 8am rush from the hotel and left at 910am instead and went straight to Mario to right Mine Cart Madness. They opened the queue at 9am (ride opened at 10am) so once it was open it was really quick and we got to ride.

I was at Epic 2 weeks ago and both nights rides stayed open well after 9pm, meaning you could still enter the queue after 9pm. On my 2nd night in particular, I was able to essentially walk on Battle at the Ministry right before closing, then after 9pm walked on Hiccup's Wing Gliders for 2 quick rides and then closed the night out at Stardust Racers, which was more like a ~20-25 minute wait.

Interesting thing to note about Stardust: I noticed that many people waited until after 9PM to use their Express Pass for Stardust Racers. In my mind that was a bit of a gamble/risky move to save your Express ride for after the posted park closing time. I'd have to imagine those folks knew that the late closing had already become a relatively standard practice.
