If I can get the computer to cooperate I will have to post some pix I just took of the puppy and kids sledding and playing in the snow...too cute! It's his first real snow...he actually just had his 1st birthday on Tuesday! Happy Birthday to my little (or not so little I guess...65 lbs) pup!

Going to now get working on some titles...trying to think of something a bit different for the Pirate Tutorial...any suggestions? Reddy - you are in the group...any requests?

Titles is my worst thing - I tend to copy signs which is why Splash mt is getting "YOu may get wet" (I keep wanting to add unless you are me then it is you may get soaked)

Glad everyone is doing well and getting things done this morning..
Lisa, will you send my dimensions of the 1st attempt black LO (I love it!!!) (the one on the left of the photo comparing them both)...

We have been tearing out drywall and insulating the interior walls of DS15's room.. tomorrow we are removing a window and tearing out two more walls..goal is to re-drywall two walls by tomorrow night!!! hope to be painting the room by next weekend!!

DS15 is headed to school for walk-thru before the game tonight... I need to finish cleaning so I can play in my scrap room tomorrow as FIL is coming over to help DH and make sure he gets a move on!!! LOL

Nan...using sketch #5...
the patten paper is 4 1/2 x 12 (that's how it worked best with the design on the paper) on the right side....the left side is 7 x 12....this wasn't a true 12x12 paper
everything else is the same measurements on the sketch

I love all the titles! I just thought of Oh Captain, My Captain. Does that work...thinking it is more general and can be used for pictures of Jack alone or in the tutorial? Since Reddy's boys didn't do it, maybe she could use more general? Since Logan did participate last trip, I will definitely use Meetin' the Captain on a page for him! Thanks, Lisa! And, I will use Look Mom I'm a Pirate for the end picture when he has his certificate! Thanks, Sarah!

Thanks Lisa!!! Appreciate the measurements.. I'll make sure I have that sketch in my big ol', huge binder!!!! I need to take my binder with me tonight and at halftime sketch my kids' opening pages to their 2012 4-H books... this is my DD's last year - 10 year member so I need to think of something special to do for her last page... what to do???? Any ideas???

5 guys burgers & fries...they have hand cut potato french fries...think boardwalk fries...so yummy with vinegar!!! Then, their burgers are to die for! You can pick any / all of their toppings for no extra $!!! Mmmmmm!!!! You know you have a great burger when the insides are dripping down your arm!! LOL We actually never eat red meat unless we are there!! And DD doesn't eat meat at all...so it's grilled cheese for her from there!!

I try not to go out to eat too much - seem to gain wieght anytime I do

not sure what to do on the title - maybe glitter around it
maybe an outline of the stork or elephant to go behind or if you can do it really small inside the "O" or "D"
or maybe the flag that Dumbo carries when he goofs & brings the big top down

Ok got to go get Milk then change out the laundry then "ink" my splash mt "title" -- honestly I'm not really happy with it at this moment, maybe after the ink it will look better
