DVC Reveals Special 35th Anniversary Logo

Disney Vacation Club just dropped a fun teaser for the upcoming 35th anniversary celebration in 2026!


They revealed a special anniversary logo (not a permanent logo change) with the phrase “Ears to 35 Years”, plus a beautifully designed tiered cake featuring all 17 DVC resorts. From the campfire scene for Copper Creek to the lighthouse from Beach Club and the monorail at Bay Lake Tower, each layer gives a nod to a different resort.


No official events or perks announced yet, but if past anniversaries are any hint, we’re likely in for a year full of Member magic.

One of my favorite DVC memories is of the 25th Anniversary Party at MK in 2016. In addition to riding everything we wanted and enjoying some Mickey bars, we spent some time talking to Ken Potrock, who was the DVC VP at the time. It was the first time DVC had offered something like that, but of course it ended up being Moonlight Magic. So now that MM is an expected event, I wonder what kind of celebration event they’ll have this year, if any?

I hope it includes improving the guest experience when 2042 rolls around…

Probably something like:

Free Mickey's premium ice cream bars at Saratoga Springs!
Located at the Grandstand pool, on every Tuesday that ends in an odd number, weather permitting, between the hours of 2:45-4:45..... AM and/or PM still to be decided please check back on July 3rd for an update. Membership Magic Beyond required 1 frozen treat per membership/per calendar year and up to 4 guests staying in room. Current reservation required (no walking over from Disney Springs for some free ice cream, we know what you're thinking.)


But seriously, maybe some MagicBand keepers. I've already superglued my old ones back together once.

Wonder when this will officially start? Hopefully it goes most of the year so a lot of members can enjoy it. I don't go to WDW during the summer, so hoping either my mid-May or December trip will include some anniversary fun.

Having just commented on the 15 layer chocolate cake from Steakhouse 71, I was thinking "17 layers! Count me in!" until I saw that it was just an illustration.

What could 17 layers with a theme for each resort look like?

CCR: pecan layer
BRV: walnut layer
BCV: carrot layer
BWV: cotton candy flavor layer
RR: Tiramisu layer

BRV: walnut layer

As someone in the Pacific NW, I'd suggest one as a coffee cake layer and the other as a chocolate hazelnut layer.

All I know is that they better have enough of the cute merch this time -- the half zip santa hat Mickey cardigan sold out way too fast.

Right! We only have the regular blue DVC sliders, but would love to have a 35th Anniv slider!

Now THAT would be something. Not sure what month they'd offer that though. More challenging to do during AUG and after with the parties, so they'd need to announce something soon if that would be an option. A temp lounge at AK or Hollywood (esp during the summer) would be great too.

Lol. I like the logo and am all for extra perks, but 35 years isn't really any kind of significant milestone, is it? 25 years, 50 years, mayyyyyybe even every 10 years. But every 5 years seems like too much.

Like the impressive logos, but, of course, as one who purchased in the 1990s, emphasizing 35 years in existence is a pointed reminder of how old I am getting.

IKR? But lately we've had good luck - a couple MM's aligned with our trip days in the last year or so, so we decided to actually do one. Our issue has been that we typically go during popular dates, and they try to offer these events during times it's not so crowded. But we can always (hope to) grab another couple of days for a MM at MK! In reality, I am not holding my breath for it though.
