No !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you mustn't mention that name LOL.

Chelsea fan here

Marie ;)

:( Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I guess it's OK for you to be one?

It's a big joke over here that Manchester United fans never come from Manchester!

My team is Newcastle United. And although they never win any trophies, they have the BEST fans in the world!;)

Hi Travis :) I am not a fan of Man Utd at all, but im sorry to say that my DS10 is one on their biggest fans:bounce:

Well, I AM! So there! :p

And I've heard all of the "glory hunter" taunts before so you lot need'nt bother :teeth:

...........not that theres much glory at the minute- but the seasons not over 'till it's over...........

Come on UNITED! :thewave:

........also just to add that its made my day to hear that Malcom Glazers bankers and PR company have resigned after the stunt he pulled at the AGM yesterday!

:bounce:

If ever proof was needed . . . . . . just noticed SplashMtn's location!!!! :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

:jester: :jester: :jester:

Oh splash!!

I liked you before you went and said that. :p Hehehehe

Lifelong fan of Liverpool, the most sucessful British team in history.

My lack of cash to pay for the sports channels and the price of watching football in general has seen my overall interest fall over the last few years anyway.

Splash,

What did Mr Glazier do at the AGM?

After his crazy share - buying antics he was able to get rid of three directors from the board- just beacuse he didnt get his own way by failing to buy the club and plunge us into debt- so the fact that his own bankers resigned because of this is quite ........... rewarding!

Hi,
I pride myself on being an ABU....
Anyone But United...
No better sight in football than a disapointed Alex Ferguson..!!

Mick.

:smooth:

I do like Manchester United (though I am a Coventry City Supporter - I guess I needed a team to watch that were successful !!) and I enjoyed watching them when David Beckham was there. When Alex Ferguson sold him to Real Madrid I really hoped that Man Utd would struggle (as I don't think DB really wanted to leave). I think I would watch ManU more often if Alex Ferguson left.

As was mentioned above Man Utd are a bit of a laugh as youngsters only supported them because they were successful even though they would only be able to watch them on the TV.

mandymouse:earsgirl:

Ive got to take issue with "Man Utd are a bit of a laugh because only youngsters supported them" mandymouse :teeth: by saying how on earth is that the club's or the other supporters faults? Anybody is entitled to support any team but just because one particular group suports a team surely does not reflect on them in a negative way?- After all, the reason for a lot of young supporters as you have said is because of the success- this should therfore be a positive thing for the club and a reason for others to be jealous.

BTW, dont take that the wrong way mandymouse! (and everyone) :p but I'm just sick of being classed as either a glory supporter or stupid for my choice of football team- it's a free country after all!- hmm, reminds me of the lyrics to a disney ride somewhere.........

And about one of the greatest managers in the history if the game- Sir Alex, for all of the success he's had I can only think that it's the same as with most successful teams/people in Britain, we seem to love to cut them down. Admittedly he can come across as arrogant but when was the last time e.g. Arsene Wenger didnt do some of the things Fergie's accused of- making excuses or in Wengers case being ignorant as opposed to arrogant "I DID NOT ZEE ITZ" anyone?

Phew, glad the computer didnt crash while I was typing that!

Well, I am a Liverpool supporter just like Cochise :)

My brother supports man Utd though and this led to some interesting exchanges of opinion as we were growing up :teeth:

We still haven't grown out of it, although I have been less bullish over the past few years :(

I'm looking forward to a swift return to our old trophy winning ways under Raphael Benitez :bounce:

Alan.

Alan, Benitez does look like he's turned things around after the latter part of Houlliers reign and that Alonso doesnt look too shabby either!

Yes Splash. I agree.

I was a bit concerned with the influx of Spanish players originally and the exit of Michael Owen but it looks like it might work out ok :)

We seem to have struggled a bit with injuries over the last few weeks and now Cisse is out for the season :( but hopefully that's our bad luck over with now, Stevie Gerrard is due back in a week or so and hopefully we can push on from there.

I would still tip Chelsea to take the title this year, they are defensively very solid now and have been knockong in a few goals recently too

Alan.
