anybody stay at SOG then switch to DVC?

I was just wondering how many of us might use SOG then switch for weekdays at dvc?

hi. we stayed at SOG and then moved to bwv last year. now DD is a cast menber at the store in rhode island and gets 50% off hotel room. leaving for disney may 18-25. staying at AKL half price then home to bwv. love SOG , especially the golf discount.

we are planning to do SoG next April but they will be closed for renovations which means we will be staying at the Poly garden view. We will see how that pans out.

Did you realize that SOG has temporarily relocated to one of the garden wings of the Contemporary hotel? I am not sure of the dates when they will be back in their original location, but I know it is going to be quite some time. I called for ressies for this summer, but in March they were already booked through the end of summer. They did have some decent upsell rates, with the poly being on of them.

We love the SOG and when we bought into DVC our children were hesitant because of how much they love to stay there! After our first stay home at VWL, they are thrilled. We have talked about staying at SOG during high point times, if we need to save points. I definitely will want to stay there when they finish their work to check it out! Have a great trip!

Absolutely love SOG. We were also hesitant about buying into DVC, but now we're glad we took the plunge. SOG's rooms are wonderful, but they in now way compare to a 1-bedroom. The only problem I can see with doing SOG Friday/Saturday is that it's typically booked at 11 months out. I've had fairly good luck with the wait list, but that's hit or miss. Of course, we always head over there to purchase our tickets.

I recently saw an artist's rendition of the SOG rehab and it's going to be beautiful.
