Anybody recently had trouble sharing credits

I added the DxDDP for my trip next week, because we will be meeting friends and I was going to buy them dinner a few times. I just wanted to double check that this is still ok, so I am not stuck with tons of credits. I read on the DVC site that you are not allowed to share credits?

Thank you I have been searching and have not noticed anything different. I just wanted to see if I should lower our plan to the regular or stick with the deluxe. It seems like the deluxe should be ok.

I actually read that on the DVC site today, as well...

• Disney Dining Plans cannot be used to redeem meals for anyone who is not included in the applicable reservation or has not purchased a Disney Dining Plan.

I personally believe the terms are outdated. There is no such wording listed on the official WDW website. We shared multiple times in October with no issues.

We just got back Saturday and we were able to use them for others with no issue at all. We're DVC and booked the dining plan as part of our reservation.

I am so glad to hear this. We have two friends joining us and want to "treat" them to dinner.
