Anybody Looked At Mousesavers This Morning

I think the easiest way to find out what the deal is would be to check this thread. There have been times when new deals have appeared...after I had checked the sites that very morning....only to log into the DIS boards and see announcements. Then when I rechecked the sites, there they were! There are lots of OCD types (I mean, aren't we all just a little...thats what makes a good DISer) and many TA's that will notify the rest of us when something shows up.

I've heard that CRO and TAs generally are aware/have access to new deals the day before they are posted on WDW's website...but that wasn't the case with the new resident room only rates. It just showed up all at once...but ppl were expecting something at that point.

Anyhow...my point is...you won't have any trouble finding out precisely what the new deal is and chances are, you'll recieve a better explaination of it and suggestions on how to best work it to your situation here on the boards.

Here's hoping it will benefit all those in the know! :wave2:

So you think that the details of this deal will be posted Wednesday (if Thursday is the start date for booking)? That would be great to know ahead of time if I can use this deal and could have everything figured out and call first thing to book.

Travel dates are 10/23 - 12/25. Booking dates are 9/29 - 10/22.

All subject to change. ;)

???What time on 9/29 can you start calling to book this deal (subject to it coming out)? :confused3

Does anyone know if they generally do this at the same time every year? We are trying to plan a trip for Dec. 06. If they do, that will just make my day!

The lead in price is based on a family of 4... will they have a price for a family of 2 or do you need to have children to take advantage of this offer?

I would think that the price would be lower for 2. At least that's what I'm hoping!

I think the days of predicting what they are going to do are over. If they do offere something for Dec. of 06, you won't know it until about this same time next year.

Most likely at 7AM EDT, when they open.

Quick question - Do you absolutely have to stay at one resort for the package, or can you combine a split stay with the tickets into a package?

Had my heart set on splitting the stay this trip, but will have to consider the package even if we cannot split the stay.
.

No, I don't think you can ever split up your stay and keep one package. It would have to be two seperate ones, meaning more money based on the tickets. If you are doing Dining, I would still price it out, doing the shorter part of the split with just a one day base ticket and the longer part with the ticket you need. Save those one day bases for another trip!

On another board someone posted about the discounts....

I would see if the egg has hatched from that bird on Thursday. Proablly will be two eggs that will hatch.

What an exciting week :teeth:

Oh BOY!!!!! Now we get to speculate about TWO possible discounts. My heart can't take it. I need some Prozac.

I would hope that one discount is for a package, and the other one is room only for us AP holder, then everyone is happy.......

TWO deals...OMG! I can't do two computations at once! Wonder if one includes dining????
:cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

I only have to wait until tommorrow, right????

:cheer2:  :cheer2:  :cheer2:  :cheer2:

thank you to all of you for this extremely long thread...it makes me feel like I am not the only nut in the world because I'm checking mousesavers every free minute I have to see if there is any update on the "upcoming package"!
I was so disappointed this year because my fiancee and I had decided if a discount better than our current AAA discount at CSR came along we could finally stay at a deluxe, but it seemed like that wasn't happening this year and now there is hope!!! :p

I sure am hoping for a "7 for the price of 4" deal. We missed out on that one. Or maybe a "kids are free" deal like one we got a few years ago. I can't believe how many times I've checked this thread over the last few days

jrogers, not making fun of you at all, i'm interested in the answer....

.... but doesn't this quote just REALLY point out our obsession? Because of these boards, we're setting our alarms 3 days early before Disney even knows what they're doing yet! :rotfl: :rotfl2:

are my eyes decieving me or has the "little bird" quote dissappeared off of mousesavers front page?

You're right. Mary is either updating the information or is tired of paying for bandwidth for people checking her site every 2 minutes.

editd to say Mary is now saying:

I believe October-December Disney World package discounts are still coming, but not sure of exact date/time

Well, and it still says she thinks they are coming.....

She just posted that she thinks discounts are still coming but doesn't know when.

Even if they don't come out ever..I am still SO excited to be visiting this Dec! Haven't been there for 4 years!

You're absolutely right and I am going nutty!  And the pessimistic side of me is thinking this is all for naught!
