Anybody Looked At Mousesavers This Morning

If if is a stay for 7 pay for 4, or whatever, and you are within your 45 day arrival date, can you get credit for the offer, and if so, how?

Hoping and praying it some how affects our upcoming

WDW trip 10/15-10/18. . .Please, Oh Please. . . Oh, Please. . .

For you all with packages, I posted this on another thread:

I know this is going to be asked a lot.

You're going to have to look at the cancellation/change penalties on your confirmation, or do you have a Disney brochure from a travel agent?

I have a 2005 brochure from AAA. It says "for a change made 44 days or less prior to arrival or that results in a rate change, there is a change fee of $50 per package plus any change fees assessed by hotels or other supplies."

So you'll have to look up if you are within a penalty time frame and what the penalty would be. If the discount is available and more than the change fee(s) (if you have one) then it might be worth it to change anyway.

In the brochure I have the "Cancellation and Change Fees" section is on the inside of the back cover. There are no Cancellation and change fees listed for 45+ days out so if you've got that long there should be no penalty.

If you change your package and the result is that the total cost is MORE, as in moving from say a mod to a deluxe, Disney may waive that $50 change fee though. I've heard of that happening.

pirateofthecarolinas - I do remember the kids stay and play free offer as it would have worked for me. It actually was kids ages 3-9 stay and play for free. No charge anyway for kids under 3. As I remember there was no discount for kids 10+ .

I disagree with those of you that think it definitely will not be dining! The free dining plan was a HUGE success and I have it from a pretty reliable source as well that dining is definitley the FRONT runner! They have been talking about it for awhile now and that seemed to bring alot of people in during an otherwise slow period! So why not try it again!!

Hoping really hard!!

Bumping the thread.

Here's hoping Mary's bird brings a cool package for all of us early December people. (Oh, and the rest of you people too. :goodvibes )

Should we be calling WDW every morning at 7am EST?
Should I check other websites?
Should I just keep hitting refresh on the mousesavers website?
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I think the waiting is going to kill me...I've been glued to the computer all afternoon...Do these deals ever come out over the weekend or are we stuck looking ahead to Monday morning now? And if it does come out will it be a first thing in the morning start or can it be any time of day? Maybe the Sunday papers might have something?

I totally agree! This waiting is driving me batty. I was also wondering if the Sunday papers would have a big ad.

I've been working with a great TA and was about to book a special that she had available. If I decide to do whatever the package deal might be, can she book it for me and get commission on it? princess:

Sure she could but discounts will be based on availability. You'd want to let her know right away. Nice of you to not want to bypass her.

I've got to tear myself away from the computer . . .

JMHO I think discounts could come out on any day of the week. I'm not much for calling CRO without the info although I know a lot of people do. I'm sure it'll be posted here, on Mousesavers or Disneyworld.com. I'll be checking everywhere before 7 am until I know what's going on! Luckily I'm in Eastern time zone and up by then anyway!

Does anyone know of a discount package that started on a weekend day?

The ones I have seen generally come out during the week.

Also, anyone know someone in CRO? They don't tell them about discounts, but I did read before the free dining package came out that CRO agents were told to expect longer hours right before a discount came out.

I have to say, NOT ALWAYS, but alot of the promotions have come out, in the past, on a Tuesday!! We could quite possibly have to wait until Tuesday before we know anything!!

This would be great! We currently have a AAA package (with tickets and dining) booked for Nov 29- Dec 7 at the Grand Floridian. Our 45 day payment in full date is October 15. Here's hoping for very good news!!!!

Hello everyone,
I currently have a great rate at GF and an incredible rate at AKL concirege through TA on this site. I cannot believe I might now have 3 reservations and have to decide.

I would:

1) keep an eye on MouseSavers
2) check your weekend travel section of the newspaper
3) contact a Disney specialist travel agent who is on the phone every morning at 7am anyway to make the arrangements for you, like DU.

It's scary how the thought of a good discount can get us to completely go crazy! I had no intention of returning to Disney this year. It is a huge expense and of course, a wonderful vacation...But now, I am sitting here waiting with anticipation for the info on the discount... Can I really go to WDW again? My kids will be ecstatic. Let's hope it's a great discount--one worthy of pulling them out of school for a week!
