Anybody Looked At Mousesavers This Morning

For 4 nights at POP in early December along with a 5 day base ticket for 2 adults the total including tax comes to about $754. The $880 would NOT be a good deal unless something else is included. The dining plan for 2 adults, 4 nights would be an additional $280 (plus tax?) so if the $880 included the dining, then it be be an ok deal. You would save about $150 dollars.

Oops sorry for the delayed response guys...

The post about the possible free dining was only 40 minutes old when I found it. Definately not referring to the old free dining package. He was just going off of old knowledge, nothing new.

But wouldn't a second adult in the room not pay as much since the room is not priced per person?

So wouldn't it be $440 for one adult then like $210 or whatever a 5 day base ticket is?

Theres enough speculation here to choak a cow. But I hope something comes out before the 28th. That's when my AAA payment is due in Full.

i'm waiting too... and i'm not even planning on going 'til january! LOL!

i have to agree w/those that don't think it will be free dining again... the first campaign is not over yet and i think it will take the "bean counters" some time to ascertain if that was in fact a win/win situation... did the guests who got free dining upgrade their hotel? spend more in the gift shops? stay longer? remain on property? etc... if the answer to any of these is no, then we won't likely see it again... and they won't have the answers 'til after 10/4 when the promotion ends (actually, it will be totally over by 10/14 'cause it's good for up to 10 days for those that check in on 10/4)...

so, what could it be?! *that* is the question!

Maybe it could be something like pay for resort+dining plan+base MYW ticket and get free upgrade of park ticket to the premium MYW package? I agree about the speculation - half the fun of a trip is planning and anticipation - and anticipation of a Discount for a forth-coming trip is just even Better! :flower:

Well my mom read her paper today, and said there's an ad saying its value season. So you get value rates instead of regular rates. Yuck.

What dates are listed? I am trying to get my DH to take me back in Nov or Dec for a couple days and leave the kids with grandma this time.

My paper just came. I'll go check if there's an ad in it. I doubt it though. We live in the middle of nowhere.

which is the Indianapolis Star. Normally the travel section comes with the Sunday paper, though. :flower:

Doesn't sound very good to me. $440 X 2 = $880 ('Special discount package')

4 nights in a value resort, standard during value season (4 X 77) = $308

5 day base ticket = $205 X 2(people) = $410

Total = $718

Package 'discount' would be $170 more than regular price. There must be something else.

sounds like the email discount I received several weeks ago, you had to stay in a value resort, and it didn't apply to any Moderate or deluxe resorts...for those of us looking for Moderate and Deluxe discounts lets keep our fingers crossed. ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

The Phila Inquirer does have the ad. While the package won't improve my ressie any, I did happen to notice on thing:
"Magical Holidays in Theme Park Beginning Nov. 14"

Wonder what's up with that??

No, they always show the lowest rate, ie. for the value resorts during value season as an example - I have never seen a discount released that only applies to one level of resort and not the others - but they can't possibly list all of the pricing in an ad or postcard, the prices vary too much!

That ad (just checked!) is the Magic Your Way $1500 ad... been running for weeks... Nov 14 is around when the resorts start showing their holiday decorations, you don't see it in the parks until closer or after Thanksgiving.

Correct... The ad your talking about has been out in various papers for weeks. The "new deal", is slated for a Sunday release. Or atleast thats what my TA said.

Sunday??!!!

Oh, fudge...I'll be at my MIL....I'll have to pry her away from the online bingo so I can satisfy my curiosity.
