Anybody Live In These Places?

As i am off with the damaged wrist which is now in a metal splint cast,having to type with one hand!!!! am trying to be more positive and make some plans just in case i have to move when divorce goes through.

I reckon i will have to move from the area i live in to be able to afford another house so have been looking on the net and come up with these areas, so if anyone lives or knows anything good or bad about them please let me know all.

I live on the outskirts of Ipswich and have done so all my life. I work in Ipswich as does my better half. Like most towns it has good points and bad points.

If it is shopping you like then that is something that lets Ipswich down. We tend to go to Bury St. Edmunds as they have a really nice market, then we will go on to Norwich which is excellent for shopping.

As I said good points and bad points but what ever you choose I wish you all the very best

I've only been there once - but Lowestoft didn't seem a particularly wonderful place. It also seemed very cold even in October - same goes for Great Yarmouth.

From what I remember Thetford is in a lovely area, though I don't know what the place itself is like. You are also quite handy for the shopping at Bury St Edmunds and Norwich!! Being more central than some places on your list it would appeal to me personally.

Hello!

I would make my first choice Thetford. From what I have heard it is becoming a very up and coming area! House prices are not too bad at the moment, but are likely to rise in the years to come with more business chosing Thetford for their base.

After that Ipswich, and then Beccles.

With no disrespect to the people living there intended, I would avoid Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and Felixstowe. They are very run down areas, with high unemployment.
