OK, I know that is a HUGE long-shot, but I figure it can't hurt to ask. My birthday is 9/22 and I will be in WDW for it. I'm bringing my kids DD2and DD5 and my brother. My brother suggested the other day that if he pays for the sitter, we could go out ot a nice restaurant, just the adults.

The problem is, free dining had already been anounced and now it's totally booked. Anyone want to to give me a birthday present? Or maybe trade for Teppanyaki? This is my first trip to WDW and after all I've heard about LeCellier, I'm dying to try it. I didn;t make reservations there because I didn't think my kids would enjoy it.

I know dinner was booked but have you tried for lunch?

My co-worker was able to get a late lunch for us that day (It's our only day to go into Epcot on a 3 day trip)

9/22 was one of the dates we tried to get for Le Cellier and were not successful. When we were there last year during free dining, I booked all ADR's in advance and after we arrived, the family decided that most of our times were too early. We ended up canceling and re-booking almost every one. So much for advanced planning.....so, keep trying. People book and cancel ressies all the time. Good luck.

I just booked it for lunch today for 9/22 .. I took a 2:50 lunch time.... I figure with a early BIG breakfast we will be fine and get a snack later.

I called last Saturday afternoon to make our ADR's for September 21-29th and LeCellier was booked for dinner every night during our stay... Lunch was our only choice.

I'm with you... I hear how awesome it is and can't wait to try it.

PS. My hubby's b-day is the 21st- We're going to do Coral Reef instead (the kids will like that- and they have steak on the menu).

We'll be there at that time too (it think we're 2:35 maybe)

If you see two moms with their teen dd's say hi.....

I was lucky and got 4pm dinner on the 22nd, but I also made the AdR about 3 weeks before free dining came out. She said I was the last table for that time
