Are you in a LM room? Because I wouldn't be surprised if there were no discounts for those. But we have a Nemo Suite and they applied the discount with no problem (although it was smaller than I'd hoped).
For 2013, the discount for values was 10%, so that may have carried over to this year.
We are planning for next June, most likely POP. And we are going to get a package. Would we still qualify for a discount ( I am guessing only in the room portion of the package )
I called 3x yesterday and once today and was told no AAA rates for AoA. I don't know If I'm just unlucky, they aren't gonna be included anymore, or they will release them later.

Got 10% at Pop, which is basically the standard discount. We're going in January. At first the CM said they weren't available yet, but when I mentioned that I knew of people who got them for dates as late as September, he checked again and after a few seconds he found them!. I'll still be on the lookout for other discounts, but at least I got this one!
You can book room-only with the AAA discount through Disney. To get discount for a package, I believe you have to book through AAA.
Got 10% at CR. Not great, but It's a start.
So, Could I book a room only and then add MYW tix at a later date? I would rather have control than have to go through an agent-I will if I need to though.

I was told by the CM yesterday that I could add tickets at any time. I would just need to pay for them in full and they would be added to my room key at checkin. She said I would not lose my discount.
We did this last time, booked a room only thru disney with AAA, then added tickets. We had to pay for them when I ordered them but it was much easier then dealing with our AAA office.
I waited a day and called this afternoon for 1/11 @ AoA, told there were no AAA rates in the system for 2014
guess i'll be calling back
I had expected perhaps AoA would be limited or excluded but not to be told none were out when I know others are being quoted them.
I stayed in LM at AoA in May through AAA and got no discount. So if you are staying in LM it may not have a discount.
I'm a little confused as to why some people are getting 10% discounts, others 15%, and another 20%. Do AAA discounts vary according to the resort you book, or the AAA office you book through? I would think it would be standardized......Anyone have any thoughts on this??
