Anybody get 2014 AAA discount yet?

Well, everybody said AAA discounts would be released today but at 7am I got thru to CRO and agent said no AAA rates yet for 2014. She gave me so much wrong info that I'm back on hold with CRO to try another agent. Just wondering if anybody got one today.

I was told no by the CM just a minute ago, but someone on the Resorts Board said they just had a 10% AAA applied to an existing reservation, so I'm calling back now.

Good luck on getting thru - I've been on hold for 24 minutes so far for my second call. Keep us posted on your progress. I tempted to hang up and call back but after this long on hold I'm not sure if I'm in a "loop".

I waited about 10 minutes and I'm on with an agent now...she's trying all different codes to find the one for AAA...hoping for pixie dust!

I just got off the phone and DID get the AAA rate for my January stay. She at first said they weren't released and then said - Oh wait, let me try this and it came right up.

Well after 30 minutes on hold, this agent said they were not released yet. She did spend alot of time trying to find them after I told her that some people were able to get them. She couldn't find anything about them being released just that they were due to be released soon. Not sure whether to try a third time or give up till tomorrow.

Thanks for the info! I was just told by the second CM that they aren't out yet, but I'm going to keep calling back. The second CM asked me if I knew the code, but I have no idea what it would be.

Of course it is Disney reservations - they do have their problems!! They had one of my twins' age as 212! I already feel old enough with thinking about that!!

Just got the AAA discount on the third try!

AKL Savanna view 29 Jul - 8 Aug 2014, w/tax went from $4302 to $3656. And we have three rooms booked, so quite a nice savings! Looks to be 15%.

Thanks! I think you were right before - the AAA discount must have populated the system between the time I called and when you called.

I've already e-mailed the other folks in our party (I'm the DDP - Designated Disney Planner) to let them know that Operation Discount, Phase I, was a success!

Now to wait for military discounts...

Just called back for the second time and was able to add AAA to a standard room at POFQ for Princess 1/2 marathon weekend. Thanks everyone for your help!

Third time was the charm. Got AAA rate on all 3 of my reservations. I had a great agent who took the time to read through the list of codes to finally find the correct one.

Phase 2 - yikes. I've had enough of CRO this morning - don't want to think about it for awhile. Do you find that the FL resident rates are better than AAA? Haven't tried to get them yet, usually just go with AAA.
