Oh my, what memories! Our first trip to WDW and to the DVC was in March 1994, but it wasn't time for us to buy yet. Finally bought in November 1997 and have never regretted it!

My best friend has a tote bag with that logo that she received 25 years ago as one of the first OKW owners. The handles had worn through and I just replaced them for her, as she just can't get accustomed to the new logo ("hate" may be a better term). She's very happy with her original logo bag.

We bought in 2008, and I still use my canvas bag with the "old" logo on it as my carry on bag! Nothing else holds as much yet still fits under the seat in front of me as that one does!!!

It was AWESOME especially so because my youngest was under age 3 so she was free along with myself and DH. I had to buy one child's ticket back when they were reasonable. For awhile SWA had the super cheap flights - $29 ea way from the NE

Those early OKW buyers were basically buying on faith, but I would say that they have enjoyed a pretty good deal, maybe better than they could have imagined - even though some of the rules have changed. I wish I had had the money back then.
