Anybody else with a big fat zero for June?

OMG! Ashley you want to talk about space.. I'd be embarrassed to show you where I scrap... it's my laundry room... there are times I have to move items off the washer to get the load out and into the dryer.. DH laughs when I call the kids down to hold the pile of scrapping stuff that needs to be moved for the laundry to be rotated through!!! One day he'll quit laughing and give me MY OWN ROOM!!!!

i have the same room as you nancy! very funny! i'm trying to make it into a real room, but not having a lot of luck. we decided to re-do the living room this year as our big *project*, so there goes that idea!

Two weeks ago or so, I reorganized all my scrap stuff. NOW, We're redoing our kitchen. Guess where my scrap space is? Guess what I'm doing tonight? Arrrrrrrrrrrgh!

OMG - I thought I was the only one who had done squat these past few months... I keep telling myself I am not going to sign up for anything else and then BOOM - I just can't help myself. Although I did manage to do a few pages yesterday and this morning.

Ok, finally pulled myself together to get the pictures.

Here are the slotted shelves that has patterned paper. It was semi-organized by person (DD's scrapbook, DS's, etc.) but now there is too much and I have stacks of like DCWV paper so it's just all in there where it fits. There are drawers below that holds ribbon in the top drawer, small embellishments in the second, and the bottom holds things like the Fastenator. My Clip-It-Up is on top- it is really full, I need the top part, but I am not sure where I would put it. To put the top layer on it would make it too tall where it is, but I have no desk space otherwise.

These shelves hold stickles, glitter, stamps, flowers and whatever else I can jam into them.

Ok, this one shows the rainbow rolling cart that has the scrap papers in two drawers. There is no rhyme or reason, it's just all jammed into two drawers. I am pretty good at using them, but its not easy to sort through. The other drawers hold things like additional adhesive, Cuttlebug folders, camera cords, CM cutting tools. The desk drawer on the left is DH's one drawer in the whole place (hey he has a slot for bills right above that!). Down below that is where I keep my picture boxes, my xyron 500 refills, my CM punches.

And lastly, the desk and the wire drawers to the right. The desk below my desk is DD's for when she scraps with me. The wire drawers to the right.... are a mess. The top one holds my cutter and a CM paper sorter that has solid cardstock but is not efficient. The next drawer holds works in progress. The second from the bottom hold cardstock. All jumbled together- MESS. The last one holds momentos- MESS.

My first suggestion is to move the table on the left under the shelves, put your Cartridges on the shelves that are on the desk. The get cropper hoppers or flat rate priority boxes for your paper and put that on the first shelf. Leave your albums on the top shelf.
If you slide the left table down is there room to slide the right table all the way down if you remove the rainbow cart and the wire rack.

Is the table on the right your main work space? Can you put your trimmer in the keyboard drawer?

Oh another idea, the tables are they close to the same height? Dh can adjust the height by adding blocks or cutting the legs of the right table if it's too tall. Can you turn them up under the shelves so they are back to back, then have the cubes under the shelves for added shelf space?

then stack your other cubes like a book case under the left window.

now the stamps, can the stamps that are together in plastic go where the stickles are but on their sides, then put the stickles on the shorter shelves. Or you might want to consider a flower frog to hold the stickles, most are ceramic but you can find wire ones too. They are for holding flower arrangements on place but I think the tops of the bottles will fit into the holes. I think most of the primas will fit in the shorter slots.

As much as I dislike the Martha Stewart prices, I would suggest getting the 12x12 boxes for your momentos and put those on the top shelves. And some for works in progress.

That's all I can think of for right now. I really need to see it in person. LOL
Let me think about it more.

Ok, I am inspired! I think I can get the desks down by moving the wire drawers and the rainbow thing. I can't put them back to back though because this is all in the master bedroom and that is one long wall in the room. (Actually I probably could, just not sure how DH would feel about it! :lmao:) I need to move the cartridges, there is no space for new ones and considering that I just preordered the new Story Book cartridge.... You are so right about the stamps, stickles, flock (of course, have to mention the flock), and flowers. I have been trying to find an excuse to buy Cropper Hoppers. Who has good prices on them?

Ok, I am all over this on Thursday. Tomorrow I have to clean to get ready for company. Ugh.

Thank you, thank you, thank you BAMB!!!!!

Not sure where you can get Cropper Hoppers, I buy mine at ACM and Michael's. Use coupons!

Take pics as you move things around and we'll see how it goes. I hope I helped a little bit! We shall see.

Let me know how it goes! Glad I could help.

Pssh... that's no big deal! I have a big fat zero for September through June! :lmao:
I finished my New Orleans trip album last August and I haven't touched the stuff since!
Maybe someday the bug will bite me again...
