Although the pictures I've seen posted were nice pictures, I have to say I'm a little disappointed. I don't know what I expected, but they just seem like regular Photopass pictures. For the extra fee they are now charging, even with the prepaid CD, I was expecting more studio quality poses and shots. Maybe I'm expecting too much. But I think I've changed my mind about taking time out of my vacation to do this.

Ours weren't great. The person doing the shoot didn't know much about lighting or composition. We ended up with lots of pretty dark pictures, shadows, pictures that weren't framed well, etc. Ours was free with the Photo Pass CD pre-purchase, but it's not something I would do again and pay for.

I am a photo enthusiest, and I just had ours done at the GF. No, they wern't studio quality, but for the price, I didn't expect them to be. I would pay much more than 25.00 to have an onsite photoshoot from a proffessional photographer. Some of the lighting is off, some pictures the photographer could have definitely posed better and he cut off some limbs, etc. A couple were really good. I think that it is worth the money. Once I get my CD I will post a couple.

I have to agree...I was almost afraid to say it!

I expected more too...I don't know why.

I just bought myself a decent camera and though it won't be professional, I know my kids and will snap away pictures--I am bound to wind up with some good ones!

Thanks for the links...

It seems to me if I were staying at the Grand Floridian I would love to have these prints as a way to remember my trip. Since I'm not staying there, They would have less meaning to me.

If they had it at the Poly for my next trip I think that I would sign up. Just to have pictures of us together at the resort without having to bother cast members or other visitors to take it. I think that alone would make it worth it.

We did this photo session three days ago on Sunday. I did this because we were staying at the hotel and wanted the memories of our stay. I wouldn't have gone to another hotel to have pictures taken. We enjoyed the actual session and I am working now on cropping and adding borders so that I can order the cd. It only took about 30 minutes and that included going back to the photopass desk on the 2nd floor of the hotel and viewing our pictures. They took about 65 pictures and my favorite are the outside shots.

For anyone who was expecting more of a professional photoshoot, I just wanted to let you know that disney does offer professional photography sessions in the parks and most likely at the parks, however they are quite costly. Years ago we had a MK photo session included in a package we purchased. The photographer and the shots were more skilled/professional than photopass guys who apparently do these shoots.

I agree. If it were offered at WL, I'd probably do it on our next trip. But I don't think I'll go out of my way to GF for it now that I've seen some of the pics. Maybe they'll start it at other resorts since this seems to be taking off.
