I was looking over the menus for the restaurants in Celebration, FL and they looked pretty good and less expensive than those inside WDW. Can anyone offer their experience in any of the Celebration, FL restaurants?

We had ice cream in the ice cream shop. If memory serves me, you could also order sandwiches and soup. I can't remember the name of the place, but I do remember thinking that the food was on the expensive side.

We ate at the Italian place on our trip last year. Pretty good, with excellent service to boot. I had the veal parmagian, made with "real" veal--ie a veal chop taken off the bone and pounded down. Mighty fine!!

My family and I love The Market Street Cafe (Formally Max's Cafe). Very reasonable priced, and very large servings. We usually make a night of it by eating there then going to the Celebration AMC Theatre to see a movie.

You can dine inside or outside. NEVER had a bad meal or service here!

We have eaten at the Cafe and Columbia. Both were really good and it was so nice to get away from a touristy area.

Yes! Celebration has good food! I ate a couple times at, i believe it is called the Market Street Cafe of something to that nature. It has a "bar" area to eat at, along with boothes and tables, indoor and out. The mashed potatoes are the second best i've ever had (first is grandmas). If you have the time and transportatin, Celebration is a nice place to visit.:p

DH dined at the place that used to be Max's just a couple of weeks ago. He had meatloaf and mashed potatoes that were to die for, according to him.

We stayed in Celebration on our last trip and ate at the Market Street Cafe (excellent service, large portions of food and it was served piping hot!), Columbia (great food, great service, great ambiance), Ice Cream shop (applied directly to my hips, yummy) and my favourite, the Plantation Room at the Celebration Hotel! I believe they are in the process of "getting it going" and the extra attention to service (without being in your face all the time), the quality of the food and the specialty of the house, Bananas Foster (to DIE for!) made this our favourite of the group. It was quiet, romantic and just a wonderful evening. :)

If you go to Market Street Cafe, try the nachos!! They are a meal all by themselves!! Some of their soups are very good also but we only eat those on cooler days. My daughter swears by their salads! Yum, 6 more days and I'll be there eating all of this!

How far is Celebration from BWV? Is it easy to get to? Do the restaurants take PS's?

Thanks,
Alice

It's not far at all--by car.
When we ate at Cafe D'Antonio, we called directly for a reservation.
