Anybody Checked The Accuracy Of Thir Dvc Points Online

I've been ignoring this thread because I checked last week, and all was well. Well on Wednesday, I paid the balance off of our .7 contract, and the contract was there, points banked all was well. Today, I decided to see what was what and that whole contract is GONE!

Well, I'm sorry I looked, but am glad that hopefully there is time to get this rectified, this is the last month that those 25 points can be banked, but I do have the banking referral number, and yes, the credit card does show the transaction. I wonder what happened between Wednesday and now.

On line looking things up isn't all it's cracked up to be, as far as peace of mind goes.

I think all this illustrates why an online system for DVC reservations isn't a simple thing as some people think. People have complained why doesn't DVC do online reservations, every other hotel does. But it gets complicated with multiple resorts, multiple contracts, banking, borrowing, multiple use years. It isn't as easy as making a reservation at the Holiday Inn.
 
Our bottom line points were correct, but, we still had 35 points left from the add-on 100 point bonus offered last spring for SSR add-ons, which I had already banked into next year and even though it was showing up bottom line, it was not showing up in the point breakdown anywhere. I called MS and
they verified the 35 points is there and had been banked, but, since it was an
incentive the system doesn't show it in the breakdown.

Its the reason you want it online because mistakes can be made which you are not aware of.
 
I went back to check again, and now all 550 are showing up. I never got around to calling MS, and now I don't have to. The points are correctly allocated and ressies are correct!
