Has anyone booked with AAA (automobile association of america)? I heard that you get the same price as Disney and each member of your party gets a free unlimited soda mug for the cruise and discounts for the Castaway Cay excursions and the DCL shops. Does anyone know what else comes with AAA package? It sounds like a great deal!!

This will be our 2nd cruise using AAA. We got the soda mugs, too, but this time we also got a $100 per stateroom credit since we booked during their Disney Days. Do shop around though because many times AAA will price match.

We also booked through AAA. My sister has booked two disney cruises through them. I booked during their "sail-a-bration" promotion and received $75 onboard credit, drink mugs for all 5 of us, and a piece of luggage because I booked a verandah. Being a AAA member also gets you 10% discount on board at Treasure Ketch, and 10% off snorkling, bike, and float rentals at Castaway Cay.

We also booked thru AAA. And because we were able to move our vacation date back one week, we were able to save mega $$$!! We saved over 1/2 of the price quoated from Disney direct! We are a cat. #9 land/sea with round trip air (out of Pitts. PA) and transfers for 2 adults and one 3 yr old. for $4634.00. Not to bad!!

We got the free soda mugs, which we probably would not have bought on our own. We didn't receive any ship board credit that i know of, but I will call the TA in the a.m. to ask.

I am going to call AAA and see if they will price match. I got a quote with Dreams Unlimited for 2/26/2005 western carib 7 nt category 9 oceanview for 2 adults--$2189.80. AAA quoted me for the same package--$2544.80 which is also DCL price. Thanks for all the info!

gwtw428- Is Dreams price with their rebate offer? If not it will further lower your price. ...Mark

Our AAA won't price match. I asked. Also for us, our AAA required that we go to the office to pick up our documents. Since we live nearly 2 hours away from our "local" office, this was an issue for me. I have chosen not to book with them again because of this.

My dad booked our big upcoming trip with AAA. I wanted to use DU but he was uncomfotable dealing with an online agency (mom hasn't shown him how to even use the computer--when I go over to plan stuff I just show it to him). All 11 of us get the mugs. Dad checked the price last week and said we got the good deal plus $50 per stateroom "off"--I told him I THINK that means a stateroom credit. We have 3 rooms so that's better than a kick in the rear. On the gift shop discount, don't you have to spend a certain amount to get it? I'll just have to make all my purchases at once!

The DU price is with the discount. We have decided to go with AAA....the reservation agent said because we are honeymooners AAA sets up 'surprises' during the cruise and a special welcome aboard honeymoon surprise the first night. So, I hope it is worth it. The discount in the store is for purchases $75 or more. The last time I cruised DCL the stores kept selling out of certain items. The only restock when they get back to Port Canaveral. So I buy it when I see it so I dont lose out.

we booked our july 10th cruise through dcl and was getting a cat 11 when i noticed a couple of months later that AAA was having a sale on the same date so i changed over to them and got a cat 8 for the price we would have paid for the cat 11. needless to say we were all thrilled since we never stayed in a cat 8 before, and ad to that the soda mugs and all the other things they throw in.

Do you have to book with AAA to get the discounts in the gift shop or can youy book elsewhere and get the discounts if you are an AAA member?
