Anybody been to the newly renovated DL Hotel?

I finally got the okay to plan a Labor Day 2012 DLR trip!!
DH likes to do the Half Marathon, I like to do the shopping!

I'm looking at staying at the DL Hotel but was wondering if anybody has been since they opened up the new pool and new towers. On the website they look great!

All opinions greatly appreciated...

I stayed in a renovated room in the Frontier Tower in August, it was nice.

We stayed there in May. cant remember the name of the tower but it was the one right near the front desk.
It was very nice--the room was really cute. The beds were comfy. THey had just opened the new counter service place-tangaroa terrace> It was actually quite yummy---better than WDW counter service!
The pool was nice and fun... Lots of lifeguards! And i loved that they checked IDs!!! The pool we went to was right across from the new counter service-these were both a bit of a trek from our tower but not too bad!

We had a view over some parking lot BUT we had a kind of nice view of the fireworks over the park!! (and we could put the music on on the tv!). It was in some ways better than when we had a theme park view of MK from the GF!!

Mousekeeping and bell services were very good.

My family and I just stayed there Dec. 26-27. The rooms are gorgeous! There were 5 of us (DM, DSister, DD & DS) and we stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. When we arrived my mom surprised us by upgrading us to the concierge level ($125/day: includes continental breakfast, snacks, drinks, appetizers, wine, beer and more!). We were in the Adventure tower on the 10th floor. I took some pics of the bathroom (such cute details) and the E-Ticket Lounge on the 11th floor. I don't know why I didn't take more of the room, I think I was exhausted!

Loved every minute of our stay there! Pricey but I thought worth it. We didn't have time to use the pools but they look like so much fun. Next time we're there for sure...

We stayed at the GCH during the half marathon in Sept, and it was pretty awesome!
But with the big remodel, I was hoping to do the DLH since I finally got a pin code and the pics of the pool looked amazing.
