I know that the public version of the fall room-only offer is coming out on the 13th... Any word about a package discount??? I would love it if they extended the current free character breakfast (+ a discount!) deal...

How do you know that, and not the if there will be a package deal?

Per the "fall promotions" thread, people have stated that the current Disney Visa offer will be available to the GP on the 13th... I was just curious whether anyone has heard about potential package discounts being released that day or some other day as well...

I saw that too but there were some problems with it so I wouldn't bet the bank on it happening.

Specials for AP holders, Pin code recipients and Disney Visa holders can be good indications of what is to be offered to the general public. But that is about it.
