We took my daughter to BBB last year near Halloween and she loved it. Since it was near Halloween she picked the Minnie Mouse Halloween outfit. She wants to go again this year, but she has never been a big fan of the traditional Disney princesses. She likes Minnie Mouse and Elena of Avalor. Does anyone know if these dresses are available? I remember some sort of Princess Minnie dress last time we went but I know dresses change. I just don’t want to commit to spending the $200 and then there not be a dress she likes. Thanks!

There's no guarantee the dress you want will be there in the size you want, even if it's one they regularly stock. If a specific one is important, then you should get it ahead of time and bring it with you.

OK thank you. Does anyone know if it's possible to call them and get an idea about the current selection, like a few days before we go?

I agree with the others. Even calling ahead is no guarantee that the dress you want will be there. If you're wanting a specific dress, take it with you and just book a cheaper package. The experience is no less magical just because you've brought your own dress, and that way you know for sure you have the dress you want and you'll save a little money, too!

I dropped into the boutique yesterday and asked about dress availability. Minnie Mouse and Elena dresses are both available, and to my untrained male eye they don't look that much different from the princess dresses. The only other non-princess option available was a Tinkerbell costume/dress which I kind of liked.

They had Moana, Elena of avalor, and many others when we were there in May.
Moana did not have accessories so we had to choose a tiara and wand from another princess theme.
We always do the castle package because it comes with the pictures and meeting the princesses.

Thank you so much for checking! I really appreciate it. I went ahead and booked the package that includes the dress. I was told if they are out of stock I can just downgrade the package when I arrive.

Thank you for your input! I didn't even think about Moana, but my daughter likes her as well so that's another option. For whatever reason she just isn't as interested in the classic princesses. Some of those movies she hasn't even seen, which is my fault I guess :rotfl2:

I went ahead and booked the castle package because I was told I could always downgrade it if they didn't have a dress we wanted. Whatever package we did last included a Halloween Minnie dress and ears, but no photos, so I would really like to get the photos this time.
