Any VWL Lovers have a VWL themed room in their home??

Robin, I love how you put it about the "blatant moose and bear motif".....we're kind of avoiding that as well. I mean, the villas themselves really don't have much of the moose and bear thing going....more pinecones, trees and mountains! (Edited to add....I think the moose and bears are cute and don't want anyone who has that motif to feel insulted! Its just not what we're doing. I think I may have come across wrong there!) Of course everything they sell in the shop tends to be heavy on the wildlife. Oh, and I just realized I haven't hung my WL print! But I haven't hung any pics here since its a temporary home....I meant to, but after a few months of not getting it done I figured that I'd just be taking them right back down and this way I won't have to patch any nail holes.

And after evaluating my comforter this morning...I realize that I wish I would have gone with the Waverly linens from Target. My sheets are very soft...but the comforter and shams are 70% poly...they feel pretty yucky. Oh well...the Waverly would have cost twice as much. But I don't think I'll go the "bed in a bag" route again.

You know, I'd love to see pics of everyone's rooms!

What a fun thread! I love reading about everyone's rooms. And Diane's house is amazing!!

Our front room (which is our living room/family room, whatever ... ) is very VWL. We have a log futon sofa with a huge wood-frame mirror hanging over it. On either side of the mirror are framed posters of BTMRR and the WDW Railroad. We have our VWL print framed and hanging over our computer, as well as other photos of our family taken there. The lamps are all Frank Llyod Wright style.

The front room flows into the dining room, which is painted in sage green and berry (reminds me of the VWL kitchens). We have pine furniture in there; one piece is a large armoire which has my dh's Lily Belle replica on top of it in a case.

My dh has always wanted a log home and he's a train nut, so VWL was the perfect choice for us.

I am in the process of redoing our family room in the basement. I found on Domestications an Adirondack bedding set as well as a moose lamp. (I'm not really into the moose theme, but as an accent piece it'll be OK!)
Beth! My DH LOVED the web site you provided! I had it up on the computer screen and he said "This is ME!!!!" when he saw the furniture. I just wish the store was closer to go and see the things in person!
