Thanks Tink, I bought a violin yesterday, I absolutely love it and had my first lesson tonight. It went rather well, sort the way I had imagined. Lots of technique that has to be percisely perfect from the start. So I'm trying to get coordinated but I really enjoy playing and can't wait to learn more, it's a great instrument. The viola is much larger than the violin, isn't it? And I hear it's a tad harder as well. I've never heard a viola before but I can't imagine it would be nice.
Thanks for your help
Thanks for your help

ahaha Someone else on here said you can never put too much rosin, I guess you can, hehe I need a better violin, I found out last night that it's not properly constructed, the strings are too high from the fingerboard so the sound isn't very good. It's a Romanian Strad 4, beginner type violin. It's not bad to start on but it's definitely going to be upgraded to something better. Overall I think it's going really well, thanks for asking!
