Any updates on elimination of second FastPass+ touchpoints?

There were several reports in mid-March about the elimination of the second touchpoint at some attractions for FastPass+, and some concern if this would encourage line jumping after the initial touchpoint. I know when I went in late May there were quite a few attractions that did not use the second touchpoint, but I was pretty oblivious as to whether or not there was any line jumping going on.

Just curious to know if the second touchpoint thing has become more common and if anyone has personally seen any "line jumpers".

(also, I searched to find out if there was already a topic regarding this and couldn't find anything. Apologies in advance if there is already a post).

Soarin' doesn't use the 2nd FP+ touch point, but there's no way for someone to jump the line.
Star Tours wasn't using it the last time we rode and there didn't appear to be anyone trying to jump the line.

Frozen Ever After is using the 2nd touch point.

I was there last month, most places were not using the 2nd touchpoint. I think 7DMT did. One thing to keep in mind is the fastpass is marked used at the first touchpoint. So after we did our third FP+, we could request another while in line waiting. You can also move the time up on your next fastpass. So if you had Peter Pan at 10:00 and Haunted Mansion at 11:00, you could move HM to 10:30 (if available) while waiting for PP.

Thanks for the tip!

I really don't think there's been nearly as much trouble with it as most folks were expecting. It seems like the vast majority of guests don't really know enough about how FPP works to even consider taking advantage of the missing second check points. I have been watching it carefully and am in the parks at least a couple times a week. I have never yet seen someone try to jump (and I would undoubtedly call them out if they did). It seems like they've kept them on the rides where the queues are parallel and/or have really long waits (RnRC, Space, Thunder, FEA). Many rides have the FPP line separate enough that the only place someone could jump over easily would be in the very beginning (Everest, TSMM, Soarin') or not at all. The main one that seems to be an issue is Splash, but they'd removed that 2nd checkpoint well before they started removing them as a whole - I think it was located too close to the boarding platform and was causing backups as a result. That ride I'm always watching carefully because it would be really easy for someone to jump over.
