Any update on the new bedding (triple sheeting)?

Here now, BLT two bedroom has them and I like it. We were at Kidani earlier in our trip and it was not done there.

Yes I believe BLT, Aulani and VGF have had them since opening.

So if I am keeping track correctly the triple sheet changeover has been done at BWV, BCV and VB.

Still waiting on VWL, SS, AKV, HHI, OKW VGC.

Please keep the updates coming!

The white ones are the same resort wide therefore, less expensive and easier to replace and laundry. Same as those dull white plates we have now. Boo.

Now it will be dull white beds and dull white plates, pretty soon they will all look the same. :(

That's the way it is at BCV, and at first I was pretty upset at the plain-ness. However, then I heard about the major soft goods renovation coming up next year, so I decided to give them a pass for now. However, if they don't do something, like at least add a bed scarf, next year, then I WILL be upset!

BLT has always had the white duvet. Have they removed the duvet and gone to triple sheeting? I hated that darned duvet.

I agree with the scarf! We stayed on cash at beach club in July 2012 and they had the triple sheeting with scarf and I loved it. I was excited to hear about the dvc switch but when we stayed at vb in October it was very sterile and plain looking... Not the same triple sheeting at all...

The sheets should have a decent weight blanked wrapped up in them. It is not a system of just sheets, but more similar to a duvet. Pretty much all major hotels have something like this now for health and hygiene reasons.

Thanks for the VB update. Forgot to ask about VB and HHI. Appreciate those updates also.

Last Friday night the Hilton Head studio I was in still had the bedspread.

I am not thrilled with the idea of plain white sheets at Jambo House and Kidani Village. Among all the dark woods and earth tones, I think it will stand in stark contrast to the rest of the room without an animal print or African-inspired scarf.

We stayed at CBR in September - before buying DVC! They had switched over to the all-white bedding with a bed scarf, which I thought was very nice. The white top "sheet" is heavier than a regular sheet, more like a summer weight bedspread in my mind. I like the splash of color of the bed scarves and hope that they are added to the DVC rooms too.

My wife will be so thrilled. I will gladly trade theming for something more comfortable. Those old bed-spreads were "Howard Johnson"-ish.

OKW room 3621, August '13. Master bedroom in a one bed. I would prefer a bit of colour added to it with the bed being so large.

Thanks for the photos. I do agree that a bed scarf looks more finished, but even when I stay in high end hotels, the first thing I do is remove the bed scarf and throw pillows. In terms of cleanliness they are in the same camp as bedspreads!

We checked into Bldg 13 at OKW on 11/2 for 4 nights and they still had the bedspreads. After spending two nights at Cocoa Beach, we came back to OKW bldg. 26 for one night and they had the new white sheets. I wasn't aware they were making this change, and at first thought they had forgotten to put on the bedspreads. It looks really plain and I agree they need to add a colored scarf or something. They also replaced all the pillows while we were there. Some of the old ones were pretty lumpy.

I hate the cheap, plain white, no color look and think it looks horrible :furious: I also hate the idea of those throw pillows being put next to the pillows I sleep on

I love the comforters and hate triple sheeting. I even have some of the old comforters on my beds at home here. I wonder where they sold all these other comforters to ? I need a king size one. ;) I hope they bring back the themed comforters in all the rooms. If you don't want to sit on it, you could ask for an extra sheet to cover it.

I agree! I'd rather have the bedspread than have those nasty throw pillows put next to my clean pillow case.

Don't like the look at all.
Needs a bed scarf or something.
Otherwise it looks like they didn't finish making the bed.

Please keep the updates coming and let us know if you recently stayed at a DVC property that has updated to the new bedding.

I know it's been mentioned that BCV already have the triple sheets and I loved them. Pretty sure we had a nice little bed scarf too, but I honestly don't remember.

I agree that all the triple sheeted beds should have a themed scarf. Helps tie the room together
