Any truth to this rumor?

I suggest a nice true life nature movie like Simba chasing down Bambie and eating his insides out while he is still alive!!!! Now that's nature at it's finest.

Then it's called Circle of Life.
That's why I don't watch nature films. Something is always some other creature's meal.
I agree, leave that and replace HIStK.

I have also heard nebulous reports that ITTBAB will be closing and a new "Disneynature" themed movie will replace it. The story goes that Bug scares the bejeebers out of little kids and a nature movie will be more in line with the AK theme.

Personally, I love Bug. It's clever and funny and I always make my companions see it at least twice on any given AK day. I'll be sad if these rumors do come true.

NO!!!!!!! Boy I hope this doesn't close. I was opening crew on ITTBAB when I was on my first college program in 1998. It would crush me if it closed.

That is ridiculous if they change ITTBAB because it scares the kids, Honey I Shrunk the Audience is alot scarey to kids but they aren't talking about changing that.

Lord knows they should. That 3D movie needs to go... Bring back Captain EO or make a figment movie or something.

I did read in the 2010 Unofficial Guide that it would be closing.

Actually it says that "Imagineer's are looking into replacing this Bug's Life inspired film with a new Disneynature sponsored 3-D..."

So it doesn't sound like anything is set in stone.

Some of the stuff in that book just makes me shake my head...I think the authors of that book just troll around webforums and pick out random "rumor" threads.

I doubt this can be true. With all the special effects and the two animatronics used in the shows, especially Hopper, they wouldn't want to spend the money on replacing it so soon.
I'm not the biggest fan of the show, I sit on the edge of my seat everytime because I hate getting stung and everything. I'm a wimp I've seen it so many times too, you'd think I'd get over it.
