My friend just told me that Tough To Be a Bug is closing. Not that it would surprise me but we were just there last week and heard nothing about this.

Anyone hear anything?

I have also heard nebulous reports that ITTBAB will be closing and a new "Disneynature" themed movie will replace it. The story goes that Bug scares the bejeebers out of little kids and a nature movie will be more in line with the AK theme.

Personally, I love Bug. It's clever and funny and I always make my companions see it at least twice on any given AK day. I'll be sad if these rumors do come true.

nothing official that i'm aware of

I hopw this is not true , i have heard a few rumours myself but i dont think any of them are offical .

I love ITTBAB it is one of my favorite rides in AK so i hope it remains there.

I love ITTBAB, so I'm just going to assume that this isn't true. The last thing this park needs is a nice, gentle nature movie.

I really hope not we didn't get to see it in Jan so I have it on my list for October. I really want to see what all the fuss is about! if it turns into a nature movie I will def be skipping that!!!!

Haven't heard anything about this rumor...
but I guess I wouldn't be heartbroken if they got rid of it. It's cute, but I guess a change there wouldn't be so bad either.....

I enjoy ITTBAB very much, but it did scare my little sister on our last trip, but has not scared her before. I like ITTBAB as is, but wouldnt really be opposed to a change.

I have heard that rumor, but haven't seen anything to indicate it is true.:)

It could just be a "Blue Sky Rumor".:)

Big deal some lil kids got scared,,:lmao: No reason to close it, if my kids got scared, I would drag them in there until they where not scared anymore.:thumbsup2 Thats whats wrong with America, turning into a bunch of weaklings with no back bone. Baby them kids to much ,they will learn to get pushed around in this mean world, make them strong, grow up with some bumps and blood, my moto,,,"Shut you will live!" now get up and try again! :cool1:

Was this from a Jungle Cruise Captain or a Bus Driver? They are the best source of rumors.

That is ridiculous if they change ITTBAB because it scares the kids, Honey I Shrunk the Audience is alot scarey to kids but they aren't talking about changing that.

Well, they finally seem to be accepting the idea that Fastpass is pretty much useless at ITTBAB...so maybe.... :)

I love the attraction! I can see it again and again, and hope they aren't changing, but it does scare little kids.

When my son was 4 years old, we made the mistake of sitting right in front of the grasshopper animatron. He was petrified of that puppet! Two years ago, my nephew was scared senseless by the spiders.

I think it's cute-funny-scary like the Haunted Mansion, but small kids don't always take it that way.

Boo! I'll be really bummed if they take out ITTBAB. I love, love it, one of my favorite attractions at AK.

I agree!:thumbsup2 This movie did scare the bijeebees out of my daughter but she'll watch it someday!!!

We'd miss ITTBAB. We see it several times each trip.

But then we still miss Alien Encounter.

Honey I shrunk the Audience should be the 3-D movie that should be getting replaced, that movie is older than old.Muppetvision 3-D is also pretty old but most people still enjoy it.I like ITTBAB,but wouldn't go crazy if they changed it if it's replacement was as good or better, the description of a nature film doesn't sound that enticing though. The only 3-D movie that's untouchable for at least the next decade is Philharmagic, that's the best of the bunch and nobody can deny that.
