Any tips to get the change reservation button to actually work?

This is happening to me too- the refresh. To add to the data- We have a cash reservation, which was moved from pre-Park opening to the fall (but no recovery deal), no others joining us, and we have APs. The AP extension covers the time period of our revised reservation.
 
Is it a discounted reservation? I have 2 reservations for our party of 10 that are identical except for only one is discounted. I was able to change the non discounted one easily, but the modify button will not work at all on the discounted one.

Yes, that might just be it. I have the Recovery deal.
 
I am just ‘guessing’ here, but, I have the same issue, not being able to use the ‘change’ option, and my package is a Recovery20, which was a BounceBack package with Free Dining , before it became a discount. I know from pervious years, when I had to make a change to my BounceBack packages, it always took a call and took a Cast Member with that special pixie dust to make changes, since the package was made with previous year pricing and etc. I was hopeful that the ’change’ option might work since the button was presented, but I, again, am ‘guessing’ that it will take that CM Pixie Dust ... oh well ... i guess fighting the phones will be the option ... sigh.
 
My room only has a change reservation button that works, but I can't see my balance or pay on it. My package deal with show me the balance and let me pay but the change button just refreshes the screen. It's kind of annoying, because I'd like to be able to see that my magical express info is there and celebration etc.. I hope it works in a few weeks.
 
My reservation is room only, open resort, non-discounted. Perhaps you need to have a "closed" resort to be able to modify online...
 
Not sure if others see differently but I started with a package that was rack rate for Nov. No previous discount. I had started with All Stars Sports so a resort expected to be closed/no date yet to open. From what I understand room rate reservations can't be modified to packages online, you'll need to call for that. Previously under regular circumstances if I was changing from package to room or vice/versa I was creating a new reservation as I don't usually like to call.
