I know that i can still take a carry on with me and am up on what i can and can not have in that carry on, but i have seen a suggestion or two about "packing your carry on in a very clear way" so it makes it easier for secruity to go thru it. It also would make it easier on the traveler so secruity didn't make a shambles out of their carry on luggage/purse.
here is what i was thinking of. I have a large diaper bag that i planned on being used as a diaper bag/purse/storage bag during our flight. I was thinking of seperating groups of items in clear zip lock bags. tickets and travel related documents in one bag, diapers and wipes in another bag, reading material for on the plane in another bag and a last bag for our electronic devices that as of yet, we are still permitted to carry on. (digital camera and cell phones)
my theory being that the secruity personell could easily pull out these bags, see what is in each one, and replace them without all the contents of that big bag getting mixed up with each other. My biggest concern being my travel documents. I get very freaked if i have to root for those things.
would this be a good idea? or even a bigger pain for security? i might be overlooking some detail that would make this a bad idea.
