Any tips for MK fireworks on non-party nights?

I'm taking DD for 7 days in November, and MK is closing early on 4 of those days. I'm assuming the remaining 3 nights will be ridiculously crowded. One of the nights has EMH 9-11, and we will be staying on site, but I don't know if the later closing will just make the crowds more insane (though there might not be the same crush to leave the park afterwards).

I can't bring myself to fork over the extra money for paid events to get better viewing, so what are my best options to see HEA? It will be me and my DD (age 4).

If you want to see everything the fireworks show has to offer, I recommend watching from where the tracks on mainstreet meet. It's kind of between Casey's Corner and Plaza Ice cream Parlor. It's a better spot than watching inside the actual hub, and you can usually get there 30 minutes before showtime and get a good spot, unless its extremely crowded, then you want to get there earlier. I'm assuming the fireworks are showing around 9? If that's the case, non resort guests should be leaving the park after the show and only resort guests will be able to ride rides and do things, lowering the wait times.

Even on a non-EMH night, you don't have to leave immediately. The stores will stay open for a little while or you can just find a seat around the hub and wait a bit. Stay for the kiss goodnight and then make your way out. Buses will keep running for at least an hour, if not longer.

During party season, I would choose a non-EMH night. While only resort guests can do attractions, anyone and everyone CAN stay in the park for those hours and shop. The crowds are heavier because of the EMH and it just stays crowded. Without EMH, people will crush toward the exit after fireworks, but you don't have to.

Expect it to be busy and plan for it.
Agee with pp, I would not do the EMH night, it will be even more crowded.

Suggestion:
Please re-consider doing the Garden Viewing party.
There's more than just desserts. We easily made it a very filling dinner. Don't worry about the crowds. Don't watch the kids struggle to see the show through someone's backside or shoulders, and lose interest, don't worry about jockeying for a position 40 minutes before the show, and then having someone stand in front of you anyway, and then, the kids on shoulders go up.

Worry free great view, AND food?
It was worth every penny for us.

I'm as cheap as they come, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. BUT, I'm 100% confident that the family wouldn't even want to do it. Totally satisfied, we saw the entire show with a perfect, chill view. I guarantee you they'd now rather SKIP the fireworks, and go on rides like Astro or Splash with less wait time, and cool spots to catch fireworks. I'd LOVE to be able to time a pic on Splash when you get that castle view before the drop when some fireworks are going off.
