I have lurked here for a long time and have gotten TONS of great ideas. I have bought DVC points and have a vaction planned for March 27 through March 30, 2006 at the Fort Wilderness Lodge Villas. I am going with dh, ds age 6 and dd age 2.

Any tips on things we MUST do, like character breakfasts, which one?
Which parks are a must for kids their ages.
Also should we buy a 3 day park hoppper in advance or wait until we arrive to see which parks we will spend most of our time at? My aunt lives in Flordia can she get a discount on tickets and mail them to me?
Anyone been at the FWL villas, what do you think of them?

Sorry for all the questions but I am so excited I could just scream!!!!!

Last week in march is busy with spring break, but we have done it and it is still fun!

I would strongly consider chef mickey's for a character meal. It is in the contemporary. Ds 23mo LOVED it on Tuesday evening. It was a highlight of our trip. The kids next to us were probably 6 and 8 and they seemed to have a blast too. We saw mickey minnie chip dale goofy donald duck and pluto.

MK is a must. DS LOVED Buzz Lightyear, Mickey's Philharmagic, Small World, the Carousel, Pooh, Mickeys house, the parade etc.

MGM has some things you may not want to miss depending on time(ds enjoyed Little Mermaid, Parade, Playhouse Disney).

AK ds LOVED the Legend of the Lion King and looking at the animals.

EPCOT didnt really do anything for him, I think he was too little. YOur 6yo may find more to do there than the 2yo.

I would plan on spending the majority of your time in MK, that is the one park where I feel like we still 'missed' alot with ds. We didnt get hoppers, and we were there one full day and the day we left 1/2 day.

Have a GREAT TIME! I have never stayed in VWL, but the location will be wonderful so close to MK!

Have a great time! It's so wonderful to see WDW with little ones--before they realize there are CMs inside those costumes! Altho, mine noticed the zipper on Eeyore at 3..... :goodvibes

I will say that the only ride mine didn't like when they were younger was It's a Bug's Life at AK. There are a few things during it that caught them off guard, and it spooked them.
