Any suggestions how to plan our last morning in MK

Hello!
I could use some help with Magic Kingdom tour plans.

We are only visiting WDW for 5 days but we have late flights out so it is feasible to tour on our last day. Here is how we planned our Magic Kingdom
touring.

Day1: Start at Rope Drop and leave around 3:00 for afternoon break.

Sat. evening:MK just for Spectro and Wishes since its the only
day Spectro is scheduled.

Last Day: Sunday Morning (Best Hits Day)

Questions: If we have 8:10 breakfast reservations at Kona Cafe how are we going to store our luggage?

If we keep these Breakfast plans will we arrive too late to ride the attractions that fill up quickly? Example: Dumbo, Splash, and Space

Here is my plan keeping in mind we have hopefully seen a lot on our first day of the trip.

Breakfast? I don't see us getting into park until 9:30 which could be a problem.
Group splits up:
Little ones to Dumbo
Older ride Space on Standby line
I go to Frontierland and get FP for Splash Mountain (I don't ride Space Mtn)
Group meets in Frontierland
Ride BTMRR
Use FP for Splash
Go to Fantasyland and ride Snow White, and Its A Small World
Philharmagic
Optional Buzz Light year

Exit Park and head to Epcot
FP Soarin
Visit Innovations
Ellens Universe of Engergy
Ride Soarin

Late Lunch
Depart (Sad Smiley face)

Any suggestions? Maybe I need to give more information but have to run.

Thanks
DT

I am trying to figure out what to do with my last day too. I have an ADR for that morning but I think I am going to skip it to have more time at the park. We will just grab a quick bite somewhere.

If you are staying on WDW property, they will store your luggage for you.

Have fun!

I don't see hitting 2 parks on your departure day. What time is your plane leaving? It really takes a long time to get from one place to another.

I'm assuming you're staying at the Poly? Then you can get your luggage stored and then head to breakfast. You may be able to get to MK by 9:30am.

You also didn't say how many young children. I'm assuming you have at least one young child (because of riding Dumbo). The young kids really slow you down (lol).

If you are taking the DME back to the airport, you will have to leave around 3 hours before your flight. If you are driving back yourself, you will still have to give yourself plenty of time to get there and drop off the rental car, etc. Anyway, you still have to get your luggage out of storage

Also, that's a long list of rides you have planned for MK. If I were you, I would plan just one park for your departure day. If for some reason the parks are not crowded, then maybe you can get more done, but park hopping really takes a long time to do (even MK to Epcot).

By 9:30 you will have quite a long ait for Dumbvo and that doesn't even take into consideration how long it will take you to walk there once you get in. I am not sure how long you have that day but you could probably get MK done and head to EPCOT around 1 that means you FP for Soarin will probably be for about 7pm- if you are going at a slow time of year.

We always schedule our last day at MK, since for some reason we depart on Thursdays, and that's EMH at MK. But I think the same would work for you, as far as being at MK when it opens. Bare in mind that if Spectro is only running on Saturday night, none of the folks that stay to watch it are going to be "up-n-at-'em" first thing Sunday.

Except you! So I'd skip the breakfast and be there at opening. This is what we do. Then after we hit all our favorites, we have a good, big lunch (we're not the best flyers, stomach-wise, so we prefer just crackers or granola bars before we board our 8pm flight home).

Then we head back to our resort with plenty of time to relax in the lobby, go shopping one last time, before we go out to the luggage spot that holds our stuff. When the towncar shows up, we're all ready, not having rushed!
