We are doing a 4 Day Wonder in Feb. We will fly into MCO Sunday morning and plan on renting an AVIS car to hopefully get us to the port by 11:30 am. The cost is about $50. After the cruise we were planning on getting another AVIS one way rental to WDW - stop for groceries and drop me and the kids at FW cabins. We are renting the golf carts @$45 / day so we don't want to keep the car. We are ok with WDW transportation for our 3 night stay. Plan on ME for the way back to MCO. Questions:
Does this sound like a doable plan?
Will the Avis office at the Hilton in Downtown Disney shuttle DH back to FW?
Any help/suggestions would really help!!

Conventional wisdom for cruises is to arrive (in Orlando) at least a night before departure in case of any airline problems. Cruises will NOT refund you if your plane is late. What time does the ship depart?

Otherwise the rest of te plan sounds doable.

You might want to post this on the cruise board also :boat: There is a lot of knowledge over there about this topic. :wizard:

I agree - if you are traveling in February, it is very risky to arrive on the departure day. Weather delays are so common at that time of year. Personally, I wouldn't risk it.

The remainder of your plans seems okay. However, I would be inclined to just keep the car the whole time.

Have fun!
