I'm sitting at my desk here at work and my Amazon order shows up with the Jerome Bettis book for dh. It's slow, so I start reading the foreward written by his parents and now I'm bawling. No wonder he's such a great guy! Looks like dh gets to read it second. Can't wait for Sunday! Here we go...

I was so sorry when the Bus retired. Mainly because there are so few classy guys in the NFL (although most of them are on the Steeler , Santonio Holmes not withstanding)

I'm not a Steelers fan but I have followed teams since I was little and Jerome Bettis is one of my favorite players. I have collected a few books by coaches and football players. I read Tony Dungy's book a months ago and it was really touching. I will definitely check out Bettis' book.

Dh has been a fan since he was 4 yrs old and went against his Brown's fan dad.

Another Steeler fan here! I alway say DH is one step away from being a face painter.

He has been really grumpy lately because he is afraid his playoff tickets were delivered and someone stole them. We are season ticket holders and when they deliver tickets they put them on our front patio, no sig required. I had to call today to ensure they had not been lost. They'll be here monday or tuesday! DH will be happy.

My DS6 still loves his Jerome Bettis jersey the best. Two years ago I had to go buy him additional jerseys because he refused to change his and so I had the stinky kid! He'd take it off for his bath but absolutely refuse to put on any other shirt. He even named his hermit crab Jerome Bettis!

When the Steelers are winning...the holiday season is extended in Pittsburgh! My DH has a t-shirt that is faded with holes but I had to wash it to be ready for Sunday even tho he has other t-shirts. I did replace the lucky pair of Steelers socks.

Can't wait until Sunday. We are all so excited in this house.

DH and I have tickets for the Cleveland game on the 28th.

During the Superbowl run, my DD (3 at the time) had a Bettis jersey. I have a pic of her with my friends 6'7" husband lifting her up over his head outside as the snow is falling after the Superbowl victory, both wearing Bettis jerseys.

Great Great guy. I just heard an interview with him not too long ago about him talking about his daughter, You can tell he's a great dad too.
