Steelers Blowww

No one does it better than a die hard PHILADELPHIA EAGLES PHAN =) as a matter of fact any philadelphia team phan does it better than a pittsburgh fan of any type :rolleyes1

np. I used to work in a deli :) BTW for the true taste ask if they have chopped ham, a lot of places dont. Virginia baked will work for them but wont have that lovely grease, iykwim?

Just got back from the store...bought Boars Head Ham...told me I wanted .5 on the slicer (less than one.)
Looks pretty good and tastes good too!

When I first moved to Florida from my beloved Pittsburgh, I went to a supermarket deli and ordered chipped ham. They looked at me like I was insane, sighed rather loudly and said "WHAT?" :confused3 :lmao:

I miss home!

glad you got your chipped ham. I forgot that different slicers were calibrated differently. You did make me hungry for chipped ham and since penndot has finally plowed our road since we got about 9 inches of snow I may need to go get some.

I'm a Steelers fan (through marriage) and can't wait for tomorrow's game. I'm nervous and am praying for a blizzard before the game.

I admire #7, #87, and #43. Go Steelers!

I geared up my avatar and siggy box for tomorrow's game. Ya, I'm just a little dedicated to the team.

Your Steelers stuff looks great!

I'm breaking out in a sweat watching the Titans-Ravens game. I'm hoping Tennessee wins as we dislike the Ravens more than the Titans. We'll have to stay tuned and see what happens.......

Baltimore it is (possibly) :wizard: bummer

Could some one please explain the ham tradition? This is the first time I've heard of having ham on game day.

I dont think its a tradition just chipped ham bbq is something that is hard to get outside of PA. When I worked in a deli, we would have people get 20 lbs of it or so to take to relatives who lived out of town. We are having wings and nachos which is my family's traditional late game dinner. But all the talk about chipped ham has me craving it so it will be on the menu for next week.

Thanks for the explaination. I look forward to donning my Steeler apparel tomorrow night at church, terrible towel included. :cool1: DH and I are surrounded by Colts fans, its a fun rivalry.
