I think either would be romantic... though have no prince to go with (yet), may just enjoy it with friends if I can get a chance at VWL when I go in December.

Got my login/approval at Dismates (yea!!!!)
its a start right?! lol

ya leave for a few days and everything goes crazy!

My favorite romantic spot at WDW would depend on whether I wanted see the beauty across the table from me. There are a few places (Mexico) where I can't even see the food on my own plate let alone see my 'date'.

I loved O'hanas before they changed the menu. Even with the RR's running wild, a window seat and the fireworks over the Castle....mmmmm

I love the castle during the fireworks and Bistro de France. Pretty much anything without characters for romance...Ah.....Mama Melrose's...

Kimmie...it looks like the sleighride is not offered on New Year's Eve. Maybe you and your prince :wizard: can do the horse drawn carriage over at SSR? :lovestruc

I think a carriage ride would be very romantic too! Chilly enough during the evening in WDW to need a blanket? Of course... cuddling is required as well. :cloud9:

Exactly...9 years is nothing if everything else works.

My sister is 9 years younger than her hisband, they have been married for 13 years.

Sleigh rides, carriage rides, walks on the beach after Wishes...how could you not feel romantic and cherished sharing these sorts of things with someone...

...don't get me wrong, I'm taking notes, and I *do* hope that at least some of these are in my future. But I'm looking for the man who will also smile and give me a hug if I happen to *scorch* the chocolate as I'm trying to make those chocolate-dipped strawberries...and cheerfully share the strawberries and champagne anyway...who will make me soup or jello when I'm sick (which isn't too often! :rotfl: )...the man who will share what's on his mind, good or bad, and who cares what's going on in mine... that, a long slow massage, and the dessert sampler at Spoodles....hey, a girl can dream! :wizard:

That's not a dream CG - that's a "wish list". Here's some pixie dust to make it come true!! pixiedust:

A Prince has to be well rounded and meet all of our needs. :wizard: A Princess has to be willing to do the same! princess: :lovestruc Life isn't always a bed of roses... it's all about how we handle removing the thorns!

I think that is what we are all looking for in a :wizard: / princess:. The romance thrown in is an added bonus.

Finding someone who loves you for who you are, wants to spend time with you even when you are grumpy, actually listens to what you have to say, sends flowers just because. Someone who knows you well enough to know when you need to be held, and when you need to be left alone. We all have our "wish lists". Hopefully we all find it someday. Several memebers of our little group have found it, so there is hope for the rest of us. :cloud9:

being allergic to strawberries :furious: I'll never know the joy of dipping one :(

I do however love gold pineapple dipped in warm caramel :)

How about a picnic? Packing a lunch/dinner of a bottle of wine and some other tasty delights and take it on a stroll around one of Disney's lakes at dusk....or before the fireworks begin lighting up the sky over a castle...

It is much more socially acceptable for the man to be older.. even much older.. than the woman.

You're making decisions about who you want to be with based on society? :confused3
I just think you're looking for excuses.

no I was just making a statement. I would never base a decision on that...

I just wonder if age would make a difference. I've always dated older men which evens out the maturity levels;)

I only appear immature but in truth I am very mature for someone who is in his fifth childhood. Disney World ALWAYS brings out the child in me. I have embarassed other people who have gone with me, but for some reason, never myself.....

If you can stand the fun.....get the heck out of my way!

Dr. Phil is on vacation...I am sitting in for him :)

CinRell..You're way too young yourself to worry about younger men. If you like him and he likes you ...enjoy.
I have a much younger male best friend. We do everything together and we both prefer each other's company to anyone elses.

If nothing else he sure makes for good eye candy :rolleyes1
